This is largely a reference book about sinkholes, with nice graphic pictures as well. I have always been curious about these Florida sinkholes mainly because I lived in the Tampa area. Plus I still have family in the area and its interesting to see how these develop. This isn't meant to be read as a regular book in my eyes, but as a reference. There is a lot of earth science and chapters about geology points. You can also find points of reference for insurance and how to protect your property. ...more
