Waliv was my first book of Shankar Patil, and it was such a delight to read it. I just have summer vacation exposure to rural life and all other experience is handed down by my parents, but reading this book I felt extremely at home. Each story is entertaining and all stories put together give us a panoramic view of colorful country life.
