The World's Greatest Buildings

4.11 of 5 stars 4.11  ·  rating details  ·  19 ratings  ·  2 reviews
A tour of one hundred examples of the world's finest architecture - including palaces, bridges, skyscrapers, and stadiums.

You employ stone wood, and concrete, and with these materials you build houses and palaces. That is construction. Ingenuity is at work. But suddenly you touch my heart, you do me good. I am happy and I say,

"This is beautiful" That is architecture.

Beautifully illustrated collection of some of the most amazing examples of architecture in the world.
It's always fun to flip through this one. I'm fascinated by skyscrapers in particular.
