OMG. So this was a freebie and I just had to have it. At just before midnight, I’m wanting to read a book. I have a ton to pick from, but I know that I need something quick or else I’ll be up all night and that just won’t do. So Winter Chill was the lucky pick for the night and holy-jizz-in-your-pants, was this the best choice ever.

Andrew “Indie” Walker and his college roommate, Daniel find themselves starting their winter break with a snowstorm that not only grounded, Indie’s flight to Florida

Got this whilst it was free on Amazon and for a GFY story it was not a bad read at all. Didn't blow my socks off but I enjoyed it for what it was, a sweet roomates romance. Nice.

My Thoughts Before Reading Winter Chill:

The synopsis of the story has me thinking: A power outage during a winter storm!? That's my life right now! It must be fate! I'm going to have to read this!! Plus it's friends to lovers! Yes. And I like other Aria Grace works.

So. Here. We. Go!

Ooh I just started reading! And they mention Plymouth, Massachusetts. Hey! I know that place! Ive been there a bunch! Its Where the Pilgrims landed!

The sentiments about all this snow are the same as mine!

So many coinc

A very sweet novella of first time love Winter Chill introduces us to Indie and Daniel, two college boys rooming together and finding love.

Indie is 19 years old and he’s still a virgin. While he wants to get into a relationship he feels uncertain of himself. He just can’t bring up the confidence to talk to girl, the same confidence his roommate Daniel exudes. Yes, Indie admires Daniel a lot. He’s his best frie

This was a sweet, light, and quick read. I always have to say I am obsessed with His Undoing by this author, so that's always hard to live up to. Although both stories star college roommates they are in fact, very different. Both boys are straight in this... or so they think!

I liked this and the pace it went at felt natural, for the most part. Of course there was a little rush at the end there (view spoiler) but that's OK. Since Indie was our narrator, and D

This book was a giveaway by the author. As I loved both books I read by her previously I was looking forward to reading this one. Although it took me some time til actually getting to it, once I started I couldn't put it down and read it in one sitting over the last couple of hours. Very good writing, I felt the connection between Indie and Daniel, how they started as roommates and then gradually, first for Indie, but then also for Daniel, their relationship changed. Very good read

Short, very sweet GFY story. Really enjoyed it.

There’s nothing quite like snuggling under the covers with another warm body on a cold winter’s night! And that’s what sets the wheels in motion (after a power outage) for this friends-to-lovers, first time, gay discovery and coming out novella. It’s sweet and cute, filled with the appropriate angst for the situation, but also has some surprisingly cringe worthy scenes/discussion surrounding Daniel’s low life of a stepmother (just, ewww). After getting through their respective family angst, the ...more

Nice short story about two jock roommates over a college holiday and their visits with their parents. A winter storm brings them together and then add in one wicked step-mom who causes problems.

Overall a nice story. I did find a couple minor typos like in one area the word fist where the context really needed the word first. But not so many mistakes to be distracting from the story.

3.5 stars.
It's a college GFY-OFY-Bisexual story about two jocks roommates. There is an abuse theme, and it is really very well done. This makes the story stand out. There is also an infidelity theme, and this as well is well done. I found the story believable. And hot. But most of all, it's CUTE.

A sweet, relatively angst free romance. I enjoyed the gfy plot line and the winter temps. A nice book to read on a hot day! Thanks, Aria!

I enjoyed this one!

Indie and Daniel are left stranded at college when the bad weather rolls in. Its so cold they share a bed to keep warm and Indie is unsure about what he is feeling.

They head to Daniels home where the step mother from hell resides. After a brief sexual encounter between the boys and Indie being penned in the kitchen by the cougar step mother he runs to the Airport and heads for home. Although Daniel is left confused about his feeling Indie starts to wonder whether maybe he is g

Andrew ‘Indie’ Walker has never had a girlfriend, but he’s never given any thought to the possibility of being gay. When a winter storm forces him to share body heat, and a bed with his handsome roommate Daniel, Indie starts to realize that he is attracted to Daniel on a personal level. The two decide to accompany each other home for the holidays, first to Daniels home where late night walk in the park leads to their first kiss, a heated exchange up against picnic table. But Daniels destructive ...more

Aria Grace "Winter Chill" 5 stars!
I love to read first time, coming out stories. They bring back so many wonderful memories of my own youth and innocence. The characters were well developed, and engaging. Each teen had his own issues, their own stories, and when their lives merged, new realities are realized and have to be dealt with the best way a young adult can deal with dilemma. The discovery was full of surprises, that made perfect sense. That is the raw essence of young love, self-discover

This was sweet and sexy. The story is told from Andrew's (aka Indie) POV. I loved seeing these guys fall for each other and come to grips with their sexuality. It was short and maybe even a tad bit unrealistic, but this is romance and I'm okay with that.

It was great

This was a great story. It didn't feel disjointed at all. I felt the story moved quite nicely and obviously in the direction we are all hoping for. I love that both Indie and Daniel are straight boys but feel an overpowering connection towards one another. They are friends and roommates but you can actually feel their connection. it's human nature to fall in love with the one person you share everything with. They didn't let their confusion over there unseemly feelings or actions com

Excellent for a shorter book. I usually feel like the plot is just too rushed in shorter books, but I felt like I'd been fulfilled by the end. There's not a ton of angst, which was a nice break from a lot of the books I've been reading lately. I really liked the characters and the plot line was pretty believable. It's a GFY/first time M/M, and I've never read a M/M where it was the first time for both (first time having sex with a male, anyway) and I think the author did a great job pulling it o ...more

Cute with some sexual harassment issues M/M college romance.
Indie Walker is in his first year of college and he got really lucky with a great cool roommate, Daniel. Daniel is on the wrestling team and always has a girlfriend hanging on him. Indie is still a virgin and becoming an adult which makes him cooler then he knows because he isn't jumping into meaningless sex (after all we have a lifetime for that nonsense!). It is the winter break, and people are shuttling off home when a freak storm dr

Very quick and sweet story. There were some serious life issues that were skated over that could have used a little more time resolving, but I really enjoyed it. Thank you, Aria!

This started out kinda rocky for me but redeemed itself in the second half. A sweet story of two straight roommates who fall in love. Recommended!

My fave Aria Grace book so far. I really got to know and love the characters. Super hot and even funny at times.

I thoroughly enjoyed this, as I always do with Aria's books.
She had an amazing knack for making the characters real and you feel their struggles.
Andrew 'Indie' is a virgin and he's never really been too worried about who he's attracted to, school and sports were his priority not leaving room for dating but when a powercut delays his travel plans he finds himself cold and bored in his college room with his roommate......
Brilliant. couldn't put it down

This was a very sweet story. It was like a bowl of ice cream when I really needed the comfort food, and I think it's my favorite by this author so far. I found the characters realistic and felt their connection, which helped me get lost in the story for a few hours.
I've seen a couple other reviews mention the step mom so I just have to mention - I've seen that happen! I know - ewwww - but it was realistic to me because I could picture it. It gave me a shiver to remember and made me squirm to rel
