Relatively interesting and sound discussion of a widely ignored subject. He goes on some mildly exhausting tangents, but overall this is an impressive look at the iconography of Dionysos in Attic vase painting. Not exactly light summer reading, but for any archaeology/art history buffs, it's worth taking a look at.
