I like the parallel of this story, however, it is so tackily written. The illustrations are the best part of this book and that is why it has 3 stars instead of two. The book offers and encouraging message but just lacks quality in my opinion.

Max Lucado's book Your Special Gift is a wonderful book. It is about the Wemmicks, as is the book before it, You Are Special. Your Special Gift shows the reader how they have talents that are unique to them. Each of these gifts has been given to them, and they are to use these gifts to the best of their ability. By reading this book to children they can understand that they have gifts and talents that they can use for good. Your Special Gift is touching, I would recommend this book to anyone.
