Since the night of her seventeenth birthday, Skye has been torn between two opposites: Light and Dark, the Order and the Rebellion, Devin and Asher.

But her decision shocked both sides—because she chose neither.

With the help of her friends, Skye forges her own path, setting out to gather an uprising of Rogues. The treacherous and elusive half-angels may be the key to mainta

Am i the only one that hated the ending?! I mean come on?! The way that Skye ended the war has to be the most boring conclusion i have ever read. Could the author not figure out a good way to end the story because I would probably be able to list a few. I loved this trilogy so much and was so eagered to find out how it would end and i was totally let down. *Sigh.. Disappointing.

I adore this series and I'm so sad to see it go, however A Radiant Sky wasn't my favourite. I loved it but everything felt a little convenient...and there wasn't enough Asher. BUT, still read the series because all together it's a good one.

For the love of all that is Holy . . . AUTHORS, PLEASE. JUST. STOP.

First of all: the love interests.

Asher: of the dark, A-typical bad boy, moody, sassy, mysterious, egotistical, and, well . . . annoying.

Devin: of the light, brooding, A-typical good guy, quiet, and . . . and . . . I literally can’t think of any more adjectives to describe him because HE HAS NO CHARACTER.

So . . . your typical love triangle, ladies and gentlemen!

Based off what I just told you, who do you think Skye chooses? Anyone

this book has not come out yet it will be out by the end of this year but the first 2 (a beautiful darek) and ( a fractured light ) were so wickedly mind blowing read them

Radiant Sky is a fitting and good end to this series. I enjoyed it and was taken on the ride right along with Skye.
It was so hard to see Skye chose against the man she loves in order to do what is right, where her heart is leading her, and what her parents fought and sacrificed for. Her and Asher's hearts were so hurt and broken and that was emotional to read about. One thing though that I didn't understand is why Asher couldn't have chosen silver and to follow her. It was awesome though how t
So, I've been in agony for as long as I was able to remember and when I finally read this.. well, I didn't love it as much as the previous books. I only liked it.

There were too many:

"I only want a normal life, if I could turn back time, I would"

"I can't save them, I won't be able to. I'm too weak."

FACE THE FACTS YOU LITTLE SHIT. Be thankful that I admire your heroine skills, Skye.

First of all, you can't do

This book is just so CHEESY!!! And not a thing happens until the end and even that was ridiculous. Ugh.

I must say. I'm very dissappointed. I expected so much more from this book than what it gave me.
It must be because I have read this two years after reading the first two books, and maybe my perception of writing has changed over the years, but the characters simply did not cut it for me.
I don't remember if Skye was always this way, but I did not like her in this last book.
She's extremely bossy, for one. I don't get how there are countless adults, all much more experienced that Skye, but it's S
I really liked the first book, and thought the second was lacking but I was still really excited to see how the series ended. I liked the book but I just felt it was missing something. The booked lacked a lot of Devin and Asher which is probable why the story didn't go there for me. It felt like the ending was too neat. I felt Like it lacked creativity and Davies ran out of steam and just put a nice little bow on it. I know you can't have have epic battle with out any causality's but I did't wan ...more

Cannot wait to read this book. Please check out my review of A beautiful dark by Jocelyn davies! Thanks.

A Radiant Sky is the conclusion to a series I have grown to love. When I first heard about this series I was intrigued to see where it would go. I love the theme between good and evil because sometimes choosing evil is the right thing to do. But in this case where Jocelyn took the story and how it developed totally took me by surprise and I can honestly say I liked it but I wanted more. I wanted the epic battle to be one that had a climatic presence and it just did not have it for me. I mean don ...more

I had no idea I would like books about angels until I, basically by accident, picked up A Beautiful Dark. You see, I had no idea the book had anything to do with angels and paranormal events. I thought it was a contemporary so imagine my shock when it was anything but and imagine my greater shock when I actually enjoyed it. Having been a fan of the first book and a HUGE fan of the second, A Fractured Light I was so grateful when an early copy of A Radiant Sky was placed in my hands. And alth
I hate to see this series end but I also hate to see it end this way... disappointing battle, not enough Asher, and the death at the end (even though its a big one) is just brushed over it and acted like it didn't happen ten seconds later (too unrealistic). Oh and she RUINED the perfection that is Asher at the end of the book. Giving it 4 stars might be a little much but it has Asher in it so I can't rate it too low. At the same time Skye just gets more whinny and annoying as the book continues. ...more
Interesting concept, good writing style, but ABYSMAL plot. There were so many idiotic plot holes that were put in the story just so there were more opportunities for Twilight-esque teen angst.

Um. What?

After finishing the series, that is my response.

The book was so, so good until we reached a certain point. I gave this book four stars out of five. If it weren't for that certain point, I would have rated it a five star book.

I really like Davies writing and I think she has a true talent, and I really hope she writes more books. I loved how this series was so different from other books. She took the angel thing and totally reworked it into something new and great. I loved the characters
While reading the A Beautiful Dark series i have caught myself crying, laughing like an idiot, gasping, squealing, and just... speechless. This series started with me curious and wanting to read more to find out everything behind the two mysterious new guys that just moved to town, who Skye might choose to fall so madly and deeply in love with, if she'll choose to be Light or Dark, Guardian or Rebellion, Devin or Asher. To how romantic Skye and Asher is together and Devin somehow found all the w ...more
A female lead with a strong character. A sexy boy with a wicked grin. A loving family. An awesome best friend. A beautiful dark leading to a fractured light. An epic battle. A reunited love. A prom dance. Sitting at the hill watching the fractured light give way to a radiant sky. A perfect story. A worthy book. Just simply beautiful like the feel of flying.

A Radiant Sky is a great book. The book's main characters are Skye who's part Guardian and part rebel, Devin who's a Guardian, Asher who's a rebel, and Raven who was once a Guardian but now is neither a Guardian or a Rebel. The story takes place in River Springs, Colorado. A Radiant Sky is the third and final book in the Beautiful Dark Series and picks up where A Fractured Light ends. In the book Skye finally has her wings they are not white nor black but silver like her eyes, after she healed R

A decent ending, but not amazing. It fell completely flat at the end. I just wasn't satisfied. Devon's ending was pointless and Skye just gave was weak. The only part that I liked was she ended up with who she should have and Aunt Jo got her happy ending.

Highly Recommended

This is the last book of the “A Beautiful Dark” trilogy. The epic battle between light and dark is about to happen. Devin is part of the Order, who believe in rules and fate. Asher is part of the Rebellion, who believe in free will, passion and love. Skye fights to keep her family and friends close and tries to gather a group of Rogues. Both sides will do what it takes to get Skye on their side…but perhaps it’s time for a change? Skye’s powers are stronger than they have ever b
This is the final book in the series following a young girl who discovered she has angelic powers running through her blood. Leading to the battle to save the world from both chaos and order, she must learn to trust her friends, and herself that love will literally concur all. It was an exciting read leading up to the battle. The end wasn't something that was expected which is always good for a book to keep the reader on their toes, but I wasn't happy with the ending. It wasn't that it wasn't in ...more

I'm just glad Asher and Sky stayed together...they're perfect. good series gonna miss Asher's humor
I thought this book was good....but the only thing i dont like is not remembering what all happened on the before books.. As i read i knew bits and pieces of what happened but eventually ill probably reread them all together..

I loved how the story flowed..The writing seemed like i was into the book rather than reading..There was parts where i felt there was too much detail as in listing who sat where in a living room..

I thought the way the story went was awesome and i got teared up on some parts

Didn't expect the twist of events. Beautiful trilogy nonetheless.
