A very exciting mystery / adventure for all ages.
After being shipwrecked and managing to get to an Island Jack Alston and Ward Pember embark on the most thrilling adventure of their lives.
When they meet up with the eccentric Mr. Peyton who lives on the island with his servants Martha and Tom he tells them a tall tale of hidden treasure so as soon as they get back to civilisation they embark on a quest to find it with Jack's cousin Jamie and a newly met acquaintance of Ward's Maurice Halliday.

Much, much better than Robinson Crusoe or The Swiss Family Robinson. The expressions were clearer and markedly more enlivening.
