THREE PLAYS. (1968). Jon Swan. ***.
This is a collection of plays by Swan that all played off-Broadway, and were, in one way or another comments on the war in Viet Nam. The plays were: FOOTBALL. This one was an allegory of an LBJ press conference dealing with Nam. Representing LBJ in the drama was the football coach. He was spouting off what happened in the most recent game to a group of reporters. You’d have to be of a certain age to get all of the references in this one. The coach’s mannerisms
