Book Review
Geronimo Stilton: Mighty Mount Kilimanjaro

Geronimo Stilton is a mouse that writes for a newspaper. He goes on a lot of adventures, but it's usually not his idea to go. Sometimes he likes them, and other times he doesn't. At the beginning of this book, Geronimo is working on a puzzle, and gets interrupted by his friend Bruce Hyena. Bruce tells him that they're going to climb Mount Kilimanjaro. However, climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro wasn't Bruce's idea, it was Geronimo's
Fun reading. Quite informative, too. Interesting!
Geronimo Stilton, a quiet book mouse is again convinced by his sporty mouse friend Bruce Hyena to go on another amazing, awsome, wild adventure with him. Now its climbing mount Kilimanjaro, the famous mountain in Africa! As a polite and caring mouse he is, he just can’t say no to a friend. He is really in no shape to climb a mountain and with the fearce mountain snow and the rough weather changing there at the top there is a low chance of making it! Even for Geronimo Stilton.
This was a very fun

Another book intended to entertain third and fourth grade level readers while educating them as they read. Very simple, silly, and informative. Children can learn about geography (where Mt. Kilimanjaro is located), preparing for strenuous activity, hiking at high elevations, flora and topography, as well as, first aid. I see why my students like these books.
Geronimo's friend ,(Bruce), has decided with Geronimo's sister,(Thea), that Geronimo has to get out of his mouse hole more often. So Bruce and Geronimo go on a trip to mount Kilimanjaro! But Geronimo doesn't agree with this. Ranks rat hairs! Is Geronimo about to be taken up a huge mountain? Will he ever make it home?
I enjoy these books (chosen by Esther) because they provide a lot of information on different subjects and also tie into classic literature as well. This one has Geronimo learning about Mount Kilimanjaro and learning some words for the area he will be in. He also learns how to climb a mountain as high as Kilmanjaro.
In this book Geronimo and his friend climb Mount Kilimanjaro in Africa. They did it because Geronimo's friend wanted Geronimo to be more athletic. This book was okay.
Really cute book that had some interesting information for school use. Could be a way to generate discussion on climate and geography with students.
