I cannot decide between a 2 star rating or 4, so let’s just go with the average. First the good 4 star: The book has a great premise to start off with and leads up to a good adventure that follows. It has a very good idea to work in our modern day world and then to cross over to a fantasy realm. Its something new that can catch your imagination. However that’s where it stops for me. Hat's off to any author for completing that accomplishment. I'd recommend the book for readers who are teenagers as opposed to adult readers, as anyone over twenty five may find it rather too young for them. I like the humour ...more

Jake Adler lives in Norfolk, England where the land is flat and wild. This serves as a perfect haven to wildlife, as well as to humans who love to roam and daydream about the world of fantasy. When he's not daydreaming or writing about fantasy, he indulges in amateur bird watching as well as dog walking.
