“Faith is the ability to walk forward even when you can’t see the path ahead. That’s the impression that I was left when I finished reading ‘Meet Desiree’ by Author Tonya Goring. The title character is placed upon a spiritual crisis whose outcome is quite fascinating to watch. What’s more entertaining is how quickly you begin rooting for the eponymous character Desiree.

I don't think I was the intended demographic for this story. In fact, I'm really sure I wasn't. But I enjoyed it decently enough anyway. I was hoping that the story would revolve around Desiree helping Daniel overcome whatever he was going through and, in turn, Desiree would find clarity and direction in her own personal life. Meet Desiree is a journey through the life of Desiree Henry (during a period of a few years). I love the story plot of the story (written in a diary format), although there were a few areas that appeared a little dry (mostly in the beginning - where Desiree was looking back, and that's what initially threw me).

As I continued reading, the story picked up rather quick and was able to read it waiting to turn to the next page. Be careful, this book will leave you wanting a sequel.
