"De kat die..." is een serie lekker lezende boekjes zonder pretenties. Leuke verhalen met een ferme knipoog naar het detectievegenre. Spannend, maar vooral in de zin van "welke draai heeft de auteur hier nog aan gegeven?" want altijd komt er op het einde toch nog een verrassing aan te pas. De ideale afwisseling tussen het serieuze werk door.
