I read the book without reading the first book in the series. I dont know the history of it but I could say the I can pick up the whole story. I love vampires, including the sparkling one. Give me any vampire book, than I would totally immense in it. Same goes to Crimson Flames. How crimson the flames would be? With a lot of actions, skills and kicking character like Abby, what could I ask for more? Abby makes me thinking about Kate Beckinsale in Underworld. So freaking awesome, with a lot

From page one the book is nothing but action, and adventure, it pulls you in and won't let you go! There were lots of characters I loved but it was Trace who I found really interesting and loved from the first time I met him, it was him I was routing for to take Abby's heart. From their first encounter the two together have brought me so much joy reading about them:
"What are you doing?" I demanded, my patience finally wearing out.
He flashed me a look of innocence, though there was something de

Crimson Flames by Ashley Robertson is a strong follow up to Crimson Groves. From the onset of the book, we are greeted by fast-paced action, interesting character development and a rush of drama and tension that kept me absorbed.

Abby, the main protagonist, I liked even more in this book. Having a clearer understanding of her history and her life enabled me to follow her character more easily. The author has created one hell of a strong main character with Abb

After reading the first book in the Crimson series I couldn't see what happened with Abby Tate. Abby is half sorceress and half vampire and she is one bad to the bone girl. Not bad as in evil she has a huge heart and lots of empathy but bas as in her powers kick behind. Ashley Robertson has written one great adventure taking you a long for a ride as Abby discovers her powers and finds herself in the middle of a war between the Vampire Head Council and the Resistance. Both of which want to use he ...more

I can honestly say I couldn't wait to pick up this book! I finished Crimson Groves and jumped right into Crimson Flames. The thing I really liked about this book was if you picked up the first book and something came about and you couldn't pick up this book for a few weeks you would be perfectly fine the stories more important parts are briefly touched on as you read so you have an "ah ha" kind of moment flashing back to the first book. I can also say that I believe someone could pick up Crimson ...more

This book was so different to the first book in the series but I still loved it! The characters had changed a little bit and the plot was developed thoroughly! The plot was full of action! It just kept getting better and better and it was one big climax! The plot to me was again an original take on vampires as Ashley has made them her own and really shown a new side to them as opposed to other vampire books that I have read! The characters were again amazing! Abby was so different to what she wa ...more

The book was full of action! It just kept getting better and better with every page! Abby is half sorceress and half vampire and she is one strong girl. She is compassionate, and I think that is one of her biggest strengths, she has been let down and lied to but still gives the person the benefit of the doubt until he can stoop absolutely no lower. Abby has some serious choices to make in this book!
The author worked her magic and ensured there was just enough twists and turns, just enough drama

Crimson Flames is a great vampire book. The main character, Abby, is a strong character and easy to relate too. I did not know this was a second book until I finished. The author put enough background information in that I was not lost. I highly recommend this book!

This book literally starts off where the first book ended. I am not kidding. Same moment. I was like.... whoah! :D Sweet. I didn't miss anything. hehe.
In this book, we delve deeper into the world of vampires, which to be honest, after book one, I did not think was possible! The Abby I loved in the first book only gets better in the second. She is growing her powers and becoming more familiar with vampire politics while trying to sort out whose side she will eventually have to align herself with

Alright, first I'm mad at myself for getting this up so late!! This lost hour is killing me, and totally screws up my day!! So, my apologizes for getting this up at this late hour!!! I wanted to be up and live two hours ago, but with my boys... yea, that never happened!!

I loved this book, and I loved Abby! In the first book, she was turned into a vampire against her will, and kidnapped and help captive by Bronx, who turned out to be someone who wasn't so nice. What she didn't know was that her m
Action, adventure, magic, and page melting scenes are what awaits in Crimson Flames. Abby is back and better than ever! In Crimson Groves Abby learned that she is not quite "normal" and she is bound and determined to figure out what that means. She was turned into a vampire (against her will - BTW) and then learned that she has powers- and that she is the only one of her type. Not to mention the people who want her dead or to use her powers for themselves. Abby's journey of self-discovery reveal ...more

I read Crimson Groves a while ago, and it took a little time for me to remember where that story left off. It wasn't long enough for me to recommend that you read them back to back, but that would probably be even more enjoyable. I was able to get into the book somewhere around five chapters and found myself trying to find more time to read more of it. It's a fantastic book! I loved every minute of it, though I could do with more details on Trace. *Fans self* He's a hottie for sure.

My first thought after reading both Crimson Groves and Crimson Flames was "How the hell am I suppose to write a review for a book that made me literally speechless?" So then I proceeded to sit in front of my computer and stare at my blank screen for almost an hour, trying to come up with words that can measure up to what I even thought about the book!

***Note : This review will not even begin to cover how much I absolutely adore the series! ***

I read the first book in the series Crimson Groves and absolutely loved it. I waited and waited for the sequel to come out and the author didn’t disappoint me. The cover is absolutely beautiful. I noticed the author changed the characters little but that did not take anything away from this wonderful book. I truly found it engaging and entertaining. I loved the direction that Abby was taken into it gives the character more depth. This was one book that the author was able to give visual stimulat ...more

This book picks up right where Crimson Groves left off. This book literally has some chilling twists and turns, and the fast pace will keep you turning pages so quickly that you will wear out your kindle. There is not one single spot in the book where it lags and I literally stayed up long past my bed-time to finish reading this book. Only to almost cry because I need the next book in the series.

It's been two months since the vampire, Bronx kidnapped and turned Abby Tate. She is now an hybrid vampire and eager to learn about her sorceress bloodline. But she encounters complications, like the head council and the resistance who would love nothing more than to destroy her. She loathes putting trust in the council, but it's her only option. Plus, if they can really reunite her with her real mother she believes the risk will be worth it.

Excellent read! Robertson has written a stellar follow

Packed full of explosive action, love and loss, Crimson Flames was a good read. Ashley did an outstanding job on creating amazing scenes and likable and dis-likeable characters. Although some parts of the story seemed a little slow paced for me, I really enjoyed reading and following Abby on this awesome thrill ride! I look forward to reading more from this talented writer.
