I have about twenty of these little books, book that were so numerous between 1917 and 1920 that no doubt you may have a few, or maybe even one of the later boxed sets of thirty books kicking around in your attic. They are plays, poems and stories from famous authors and the company itself went on to become the "Book of the month club". Books for the teeming masses, sold for a mere dime each, and a small part of the history of books in America as Goodreads is becoming part of that history today.
