I really loved this sweet story of Edyth Wilsey as she persevered for Christ through difficult circumstances. Edyth's story was heartbreaking. A choice must be made, the choice between a high, easy life full of wealth or choosing to follow Jesus and thereby being ill-treated and disinherited. The main character is put to a great test. This is one of my favorite books! It was really hard for me to put this book down and when I came to the end I didn't want it to stop. A wonderful book, kind-of like "That Printer of Udells" by Harold Bell Wright. (One of Ronald Reagan's favorite books)
Also Lamplighter Publishing has tons of other books that are very enjoyable and reach a wide selection of ages,.
