The past will always find you.

Jos Archer was the girl with the perfect life; until the night it all came crashing down around her. Now, nine months later, she still hasn't begun to pick up the pieces. Even transferring to a new college and living under the watchful eye of her older sister, Renee, isn't enough to help her feel normal again.

And then she meets Dusty Sharp. Fo

A fresh start was irrelevant when the dark things in your past were always following you.

Jos has changed. She was the perfect student, perfect daughter, perfect sister. But now, everything has different. No one knows why, but Jos does. She’s lost someone important to her and she can’t help but blame herself. Her mother sends her to live with her sister Renee to try to straighten her out. She needs a fresh start, a new beginning. There, she meets the gang. Jos is closed off. She meets

Ohhh, I absolutely adored My Favourite Mistake and have reread it so many times. So when I heard a second book was coming out with new characters but the old ones was making an appearance I was so excited. Unfortunately for me this book didn't work very well and left me disappointed...I found there wasn't really much of a story.

In the first book we met Jos's Sister Renee and I really liked her BUT in this book she was acting more like a strict mother towards Jos then a sister! She was

Dusty and Jos both have secrets. But will their secrets bring them closer together or tear them apart?

Things that irritated me: Renee and her over controlling behaviour was suffocating. Jos acted like a moody teenager and I didnt feel any growth in her character. I found all the side characters all sickenly happy, considering you have 3 couples all living together.

For a 3 star Im trying to think of something I like but....nope, nothing. This book was a slow burner and I felt like nothing

Jos Archer used to be the perfect girl, perfect grades, bright future; it was all mapped out for her until it wasn't. When an event has her spiraling out of control her sister, Renee steps in. Now, for those that don’t remember Renee from My Favorite Mistake, she was Taylor’s friend and Roommate.

Being forced to leave her college in New Hampshire to move in with Renee and the gang (Yep, they are all there – Taylor, Hunter, Paul, Mace, Renee and Darah) in Maine and transfer schools. This

This is book 2 in Chelsea Cameron's My Favorite Mistakes series and I will admit I really liked book one, but I was not completely blown away by this one.

Jos Archer suffers loss and changes her very being. A one-time straight A classy gal is now skipping class and "living on the edge." Enter very annoying and overbearing sister who brings her to Bangor Maine to live and attend a new school. Nothing is getting through to this sad and quite bitchy gal. Well, nothing that is

Setting: College

Love Triangle: No

Similar to the first book you are introduced to a the main character Jos who has a dark secret and isn't willing to share it. And that is where the mystery lay for the entire book; you keep reading thinking What happened?! For the Love of GOD tell me! But she doesn't and you don't figure it out for quite a while. Talk about frustrating.

What I loved about Jos is that similar to book 1 she was feisty, takes no sh!t and could definitely hold her o

Hm.

was so hoping it was going to follow Hunter and Taylor and everyone after they moved into the house. I loved those characters. My Favorite Mistake is one of my favorite college romance I guess I was just hoping for more.
I just finished FOR REAL by this same author and thought it was just ok...didn't like it nearly as much as MY FAVORITE I'm not sure what I'll think about this next book.

Sadly, My Sweetest Escape did not live up to its predecessor for me. I didn't connect with the characters, and thought Jos was very mellow.

Meine Gedanken:

I looked forward to reading My Sweetest Escape, but unfortunately, it didn't really work for me. I didn't hate it by any stretch, but I found the heroine to be extremely hard to get behind and the plot to be too slow-paced for my liking.

This book had lots and lots of snark. Jos's voice is very similar to Taylor's from My Favorite Mistake. So if you like Taylor you'll likely enjoy Jos. If you wished Taylor would cut the shit, you'll probably wish the same of Jos. Though her lif

Joscelyn has been shipped off by her mother to live with her sister Renee and her friends in Maine. Since starting college Jos has gone from being laser-focused on school and her future to partying with her friends. Nobody is more concerned by that than her sister Renee who now feels like she no longer knows the one sibling she is closest to. Living with her sister and her friends puts Jos under close scrutiny by all her housemates and a boy named Dusty keeps showing up at the house and around c ...more

Li ho trovati appena accennati, non debitamente sviluppati e since

Well, I liked he H, I can't say I was a fan of the heroine. In fact, she was a bit of an annoying bitch if I'm being honest. The book was okay. The only saving grace was the H, Dusty. If it were not for him, I would have given up and tossed it. He was very sweet, adorable and fun and for the life of me, I could not figure out what he saw in Little Miss Angsty Bitch. She was unnecessarily nasty to him for about 3/4 of the book before she started to let herself like him. She finds out tha

Another good story from Ms. Cameron. I loved the first book in this series and I was hoping for the second book to be more about Taylor and Hunter, but this one was prominently about Renee's little sister Joscelyn. No one in her family could figure her out. She was always the straight A student, the perfect one. Now she's out of control and her grades are slipping and her mother had pulled her out of school to transfer to Renee's college and she's off to live in Taylor and Hunter's house with th ...more
