This book had my emotions all over the place... One minute I like this.

Then it gets better and I am like this...

Then the flashbacks come in and I am a little...

Next I am happy all over again

And finally the deployment comes and the letter and my heart gets ripped out and I look like this.

See told you a total roller coaster! The author did an amazing job with what I think the emotions would be like if you were going through this yourself. I am married to a man that was in the military when we firs

I downloaded this book free from amazon and decided to give it a whirl. I'm very happy I did too because I thoroughly enjoyed it. I can't imagine what the wives/husbands feel when they watch their spouse leave them never knowing of their fate. It's heart breaking. It's hard for our family when my cousin leaves so I could only imagine the turmoil they feel. With that being said on with my thoughts.

With every page I wanted to know more. I was curious as to where the story would lead and WOOHOOO it

Make a donation to support one of the USA's many armed forces! I loved the story. Rhea was totally amazing. By the time I was 1/4 way through I was thinking she has endured so much pain, yet she moves on with life. I dont know if there is a woman alive who wouldnt be touched by her story. Her Mom, well she was always hanging on. Her brother Randy was a HERO. Her Dad was a loser. Chad who was Randi's best friend couldn't be any finer.

It tells the story of an family and great group of friends who

Honestly while this was an amazon kindle freebie, people need to be warned that they will lose some hours of their lives and some tooth enamel reading it!!!! Please reconsider!!!

Grammer mistakes abound, the whole story is cheesy and trite and just so odd. I only kept reading as I figured with so many decent reviews here and at amazon that things would get better, but they didn't! Honestly just because a books got SEALS/ national defence types in it, it doesn't automatically deserve a wonderful r

This was a free book I picked up having never read this author before. I could not put it down. It is an extremely romantic, touching, tear jerking book.

The story of Rhea & Chad having always had feelings for each other since they were children growing up together and neither knowing how the other felt, is wonderful.

I feel for Rhea having lost her brother and mother within a few years time, is something that I wish no one had to suffer. Thank god for Chad's mom Dana and then eventually for C

This piece little number was a gem to read. Funny, witty and definitely a emotion jerker. I got it free on amazon and was hooked from the word go. I enjoyed seeing the formality in the armed services and the loyalty between the brothers. I have started on the second book and will continue until I get to the end of the series.

What an amazing book. As a military wife I loved how she captured the anguish of saying "good-bye". It was a little sappy but I always love a good romance. Can't wait for the next one!

Let me start off by saying, this is the first military romance that I’ve read. I tend to stay away from these, as I’m more into contemporary and erotica. That being said, I give Theresa Marguerite Hewitt five stars for this military romance. I absolutely fell in love with this story. I went into it, thinking that I wasn’t going to like it, but my mind was changed the instant I started it.
The book opened with an outstanding prologue. It hooked me. Great job with that, Theresa!

This review is for Two Weeks with a SEAL (The Wakefield Romance Series)

I enjoyed this book for the most part. The story was strong as were both the H/h, Rhea and Chad. The execution of the story, though, left much to be desired and I found myself skimming through much of it.

Stated plainly, there was too much cataloging exactly what was taking place in detail: we woke, there were bacon smells and coffee, we had sex, we got ready and went to lunch, we came home, we had sex, we went out, w

She's loved him since she was 5 years old. He was 5 years older than her and her brother's best friend, but Rhea loved everything about him and even though she tried as she got older even when he enlisted and was gone for months at a time, she never could forget Chad.

Chad fell in love with Rhea when he was 15 as they got older it was because of his respect for his best friend that he stayed away from her. Now after they have both lost loved ones and best friends they come together and finally pr

The best part of Two Weeks With a SEAL was the emotion of the military men and the people that love them. In reality, if you just have two weeks to be with the one you love before they return to duty, you are going to have an emotion filled time together. The book is written to honor our military men and the families they leave behind that support them. It is not a story with a giant catastrophe or really much suspense but it does tell how a woman in love with a SEAL would find herself on a roll ...more

I loved this beautiful love story. I think we all remember our first crush, even when it’s not mutual, and this story brought back memories.
Chad, a Navy Seal with a body to die for, would make any woman swoon. Rhea has been in love with Chad, her brother’s best friend since she was 5 years old. Chad was her first and she wants him to be her last, but Rhea doesn’t realise he has always loved her as well. In the beginning of the book, Rhea life is turned upside down when one tragedy follows anoth

I enjoyed this book alot. It was easy to relate to the story line, and there were times when I could feel Rhea's panic rising in my own chest at the thought of her loved one leaving. It provides an inside view of the life of a military person and their family, spurring a better understanding for those of us who have never experienced it.

While I enjoyed the story, there were a few drawbacks. There was a desperate need for editing. Many misused words and repeated terms jarring the flow of the boo

Wow! I got this book for free and can't believe it! I kind of figured this was the typical military love story about the dangers/drama of loving a military man. WRONG! There was a beautiful story of growing up, loving and loss, and finding your way to your true love. Chad was a perfect gentleman with his devotion to Rhea, even if it meant staying away. They have a wonderful connection, and you just want to scream at them, "Just admit it!" Which is pretty funny, when everyone around them does ...more

I enjoyed Rhea and Chad's story. I love stories of love since childhood that this was one. Chad is a Navy Seal, whose best friend and fellow Seal, Randy, dies on a mission. Chad is in love with Rhea, Randy's five year younger little sister. Rhea wanted to go to law school and makes it through college, but ends up dropping out of law school to assist for caring for her mother. Chad's mother Dana, is very good friends with Rhea's mother, and assists in her care.

The story starts when Rhea's mother

This is the start of a good series. I was able to pick the first book up for free. I wondered why it was titled two weeks with a Seal. It's because the second installment picks up where this book leaves off.
Chad comes home and finds Rhea (the only person the other has ever loved). They finally tell each other how they feel and it is off like a bang. Within days of seeing each other, she is moving in and they are getting married. Oh, and he is leaving the service. While this story is more down-ea

Incredible story!! Rhea and Chad's story is heart-warming and beautiful. It perfectly pictures the struggles of being in a military relationship, with all the worry, the sadness, the faith, the goodbyes and the uncertainty. Chad is hands-down, no-questions-asked the BEST and hottest book boyfriend ( and my personal book husband). He's alpha, caring, attentive, patient and sweet. I've read this book about 7 times, and it never gets old. All the characters are full of depth and perfectly ...more

I loved this book. I always enjoy reading books about military men and women and their families. This book reached out and tugged on my heart strings. It was emotional and pulled me into it. I didn't want to put it down. Military books always hit me in a different way than most books but this one hit me twice as hard. There were a few misspellings and a few grammatical errors. These errors don't bother me to much because I make mistakes like this all the time. I am a terrible speller and not ...more

OK I really enjoyed this book. I liked seeing the relationship bloom between Chad and Rhea. I read this book because my friends recommended it and I am so glad that they did. Chad was pure hotness and I loved seeing the love they have for each other. I freaking cried quite a bit in this book and I won't say why but dammit it broke me. I am happy that book 2 was out and I didn't have to wait to continue the story. I really enjoyed this one.

Damn this book is good and I got it free, I would have paid good money for this. Rhea has suffered so much in the past then Chad comes hone for two weeks. They have know each other for years, but never confessed their feelings until now. This book is well written and very emotional, I needed a tissue every now and then. So good I brought the second in the series Coming Home before I was half way through.

Couldn't help but fall in love with Chad and Rhea to the extent that I bought the second book in the series as soon as I finished the first which I rarely do when I get the first as a kindle freebie! They're definitely country people which was a completely different experience for a city girl like me. I probably would have given the book a 5 if the writing style was a little better-lots of grammar issues in this and the second one.
