There's something a little baffling about this book. There's some sort of grand arc going on, but it's really unclear who those villains are and why they have allied themselves and what they want. Then there are the stories. There are a couple of "Am I a beserker in the wilderness stories?" including one that stars I-Can't-Believe-It's-Not-Wendigo. I'd give it a 5 but The Jungle Adventure took it down a star. The art by Mignola was great, but the story of that one just felt off.

Massive nostalgia kick reading these. I remember not being able to find the Blood and Claws stuff for love or money back in the day when Wolverine back-issues were worth their weight in gold.

Larry Hama is an American writer, artist, actor and musician who has worked in the fields of entertainment and publishing since the 1960s.

During the 1970s, he was seen in minor roles on the TV shows M*A*S*H and Saturday Night Live, and appeared on Broadway in two roles in the original 1976 production of Stephen Sondheim's Pacific Overtures.
