Drive Me Wild by Lori Foster - Wow! Lori Foster just went three for three. I went into reading Drive Me Wild with a certain degree of skepticism, because of not entirely liking Erica due to her brash manner. I figured it might be a good read at best, so I couldn't have been more shocked when this novella was yet another fabulous story, making the entire Brava Girlfriends series sheer perfection for me.

As I mentioned Erica was a little too cynical and outspoken for my ta

Erica has a fantasy to fulfill. Ian wants to be the one to do it for her.
I liked this one okay. About 3 stars. Very steamy book. Not enough substance to the characters, though.

Something Wilde by Janelle Denison
Eric Wilde is hot for Jill Richardson, his temporary co-worker. They make a deal to fulfill fantasies at night and keep things strictly business during the day.

Foster's story was fun, McKenna's ok, Denison's not ok.

I've rated other McKenna stories as 5, but this story, Touch Me, was the first one I would rate as a 3, for just ok. The story line and plot were not good. I did not like Tess. She was overly sensitive, weak, self-centered and not willing to see Jonah's point of view. She kept misjudging him. For a list of my reviews of other Shannon McKenna books, see my 5 star review of “Ultimate Weapon” posted 11/15/08.

I have read both Lori Foster and Shannon McKenna before and have, for the most part, enjoyed them. I got this novella because I had intended on reading the first of a series of books by Janelle Denison. If these stories by these writers were the norm, I would have saved my time in reading them. As a matter of fact, two of the three stories were abandoned. I question reading the rest of the Janelle Denison series but will give it a try.
That said, if you are interested in a book about steamy sex w

Drive Me Wild - 2 stars. Lori Foster is always hit and miss with me. This one was seriously a miss.

Something Wilde - 1 star. I hated this one. So much. I've never read this author before and I don't know if I will again. I had so many issues with the characters in this book and skimmed a lot because I couldn't stand it anymore. Showing up at her house after she's already said no and then standing outside her balcony door, watching her change, is not someone you want around. That's stalking. And

I read the Shannon McKenna story in All About Men and LOVED it!!! She writes just what I need!

I heard this short is being re-released for Mass Market! ya! Shannon deserves to have the masses discover her and love her like I do!

LORI FOSTER - meh, haven't been a Foster fan in many years, I'm definitely NOT interested in reading the first two stories in this mini best-friends series she's done; I could be more forceful in my comments but I don't want to be thrown off GR :(
JANELLE DENISON - read this book specifically to start the "Wilde" series and I can't say I've read the book unless I read the whole thing (like tolerating the Foster tale); loved the Denison story, really looking forward to Adrian's story now
Something Wilde 3 1/2 stars
I recently read Wilde Thing by the author (and loved it), Eric and Jill were secondary characters in Wilde Thing.

Jill is a freelance consultant at the advertising/marketing firm where Eric works at, and he wants her bad. Their collaboration is coming to an end and Eric decides to make his move. Jill is leery of getting involved with someone she works with because of a bad experience in the past. They embark on a secret affair meant to end when their work association is

Drive Me Wild by Lori Foster
Erica and Ian were fun. She's hiding her real desires from her friends even though they are all supposed to be fulfilling their true desires. Ian knows what her desires are and they aren't what she says. So he calls her bluff and decides to be her sex slave in order to have an opportunity to show her what she really wants. Ian comes across as an overbearing ass who is secure in his masculinity.

I enjoyed this book. I got it for the second story, Something Wilde, the start of Denison's Wilde series. A theme of dominance ran through all the stories.
The first short story, Drive Me Wild was my second favorite one. The story's main characters were Erica and Ian. I'll get right into it. This story read as if there were two previous where Erica's friends and co-workers met their husbands. Ian is a big man, but I don't get a good sense of how tall or big is supposed to be. He does intimidate

12/18/2012: ok, so far i've only just read Denison's story Something Wilde because I'm reading her Wilde series at the moment and so far so good for the book :)

10/09/13: Lori Foster came up with a series called Brava Girlfriends (Brava for the publishing company and girlfriends cuz the series is about 3 female friends) and published the second story, Indulge me, in this anthology.
Basically, a new sex shop opens up in this 'very quiet' (lol) town and the 3 friends make a pact with each other to t

Three fast paced, erotic romances.

Erica Lee is more than just challenged by Ian Conrad. He is out to indulge her fantasies, but ends up gaining his.

Jill Richardson has already been burned by missing work with romance, but Eric Wilde drives her once more, to the Wilde side.

Tess Langley has hopes to finally live up to the potential she believes she has, and Jonah Markham is more than willing to work towards that potential together.
More like 2 1/2 stars. I read two of the three novellas of the book. The main reason for reading was Janelle Denison's "Something Wilde" which was better than the second title in that series "Wilde Thing". The "romance" between Eric and Jill is less "hicky" but Denison uses again the whole Fantasy/Role play as an erotic ploy. It gets old fast even if in this one she didn't go off the rail as in Wilde Thing.

The surprise was Shannon McKenna's Touch me. McKenna's way of using the Fantasy/Role play

all three stories were good and I enjoyed reading them even though I only read the book to get the story on Eric and Jill from the Wilde series. Now I'm going to look up the other authors and see if I like what they have.
This review is based only on Lori Foster's story.

This final story of the adventure to the sex store of three friends had me laughing. In the previous ones each guy seemed to manipulate how things worked out, but not as much as this one. Ian blatantly went after Erica, conning George and Cameron to go along with his plan. It worked out pretty well until the previous couples showed up at his house to bust him. What worked in his favor was that he had just come clean with Erica. I will say that thi

There are three stories in this anthology. Here's a list in the order of how I liked them:

Something Wilde by Janelle Denison (3 stars)
I liked this story the most out of the three.

Drive Me Wild by Lori Foster (3 stars)
I read the other two stories by Lori Foster that were part of this Porn Shop pact a few years ago. I've been wondering where this third story was. I didn't like this one as much as I did the other ones that featured with Arial and Becky.

Touch Me by Shannon McKenna (1 stars)

I have been trying to read anthologies and appreciating them for what they are. This one had a lot of promise because it was written by Lori Foster, Janelle Denison and Shannon McKenna...all authors that I usually enjoy. Unfortunately this was like the book that wouldn't end. Each individual story was pretty lame...needless to say...not gonna read again
Dawn ♥ romance
I only read steamy story by Lori Foster and always enjoy when the hero is in pursuit but I didn't like this heroine with her rigid domination stance and an entire relationship built in two days was a stretch. Ian talks the strong willed Erica into spending the weekend with him.

I loved all thereof these stories, but the last one by Shannon McKenna was my favorite! "Touch Me" was explosive, sexy, and touching. A romantic tale that wove around realistically flawed characters trying to come to terms with each other and ultimately themselves. :-)

It took me a lot longer than I thought to finish the last novella, McKenna's Touch Me. I just couldn't get into it. Not sure I'd it was the story or me. It is my least favorite of the three. My favorite was Dennison's Something Wilde.
The first two (Foster and Denison) were typical anthology stories. Not much to them, light & trying to be sexy. The McKenna story was better, although I think maybe I've already read it.

Finally done. This was my "inbetween reading other book" book. The three short stories was intenese and nice. Very good visual. To me jus seemes repetative. But all in all, very good book.

Lori Foster story only.

I love Lori foster and she didn't dissappoint me with this one. I am not a great lover of short stories but this one is definately worth a read.
Drive Me Wild: 2 stars
Something Wilde: 3 Stars. I like this series.
Touch Me: 1 star. Can't even begin to describe all the things wrong with this one. Almost a DNF

Same Lori Foster novella as in Truth or Dare, wish they would tell you it was a reprint on the book cover! Three enjoyable stories.
