A collection of major league baseball stories as told by the players to Tim McCarver on his TV show. Some of the excerpts are interesting or humorous, but the problem is that they read like a transcript, which is, of course, what they are. A video version of these same interviews where you could see facial expressions and hear the inflection of the voice would be more enjoyable to me. But I'm a pretty casual baseball fan, so someone with more baseball knowledge might like this book better than I...more
