What a great book! Romances have to have a good story line to keep my interest and this book delivers. The male character sounds so hot! I can feel the tension and chemistry coming from the book! I also enjoy books with a very strong female like Sheba because the wishy washy ones just annoy me. When she barges in the Judge's chambers because he's late for the appointment, I was an instant fan! Way to go!

The book appears to be a series, and this part of the series is too short for me to give a long detail summary about the hero and the heroine.

Based on what I have read so far I can tell the heorine whose name is Sheba is strong willed, smart, and is not bothered by people in power. The hero Solomon; who happens to be judge, seems to be commanding, feared in the legal world, and doesn't take any mess. Sheba and Solomon's first run in with one another was a battle of power. Their next run in with

Very short and quick read.It is a beginning to a series. What I read was interesting, it's a shame it is so short.

Oh this was way too short. I was just settling in ready to read some more about Solomon ans Sheba. This was definitely worth the read and I can't wait for the next book.

“As a first-generation Ethiopian immigrant, Sheba had lived in Charleston since she turned five years of age. She was Ethiopian by birth, but American by preference. She had worked hard, studied and sacrificed plenty to get where she was today, no easy feat for someone who had just celebrated her twenty-sixth birthday. According to her friends, Sheba was a beauty, though when she looked in the mirror, she saw inevitable flaws; her cheekbones were too pronounced, her mouth a little too wide, her nose with that perturbing slant to it. Still, she accepted compliments gratefully, especially from her roommate, Janelle. Janelle was the true beauty, Sheba thought, with dark ebony skin so smooth that she could be a walking ad for Ghirardelli Dark Chocolate.” 2 likes
