This is probably one of my most prized future-classroom-library additions. It includes ocean animals from all six oceans, and even has ideas for games and activities to do with your kids that help reiterate the facts in the book. The pictures are absolutely amazing and so colorful that they are sure to hold any kids' interest. I would pair this book with a personal favorite, Finding Nemo. This book retells the movie Finding Nemo and even has 3D images. Both of these books can help introduce the ...more

Amazing book for a little girl who loves all things related to the ocean! She already has favorites, like the manta ray and the sea star. Each chapter is devoted to a different ocean and the creatures that live there with well-written, kid descriptions of the animals' traits and habitat.

This is an awesome book. It is well laid out, easy to follow, and the colors, layout and even the fonts used are very appealing. There are lots of great facts about all the creatures that call the world's ocean home. Then there is the unbelievably amazing photography. This is a very appealing non-fiction book and a great collection addition to help patrons looking for items to satisfy common core reading.
