I give this one a 3.5.

Cherry Garcia isn't your run of the mill twenty-something. Aside from being named after her parents' favorite ice cream flavor, she's a necromancer and vampire hunter. Creatures from legend are just starting to become known in our world and she's on the front lines. But she's been trained by her father;one of the best in the business. When she goes on a sanctioned job to clear a house of a nest of vampires, what could possibly go wrong? A lot. Something goes horribly awry a

I really enjoyed this novella! It was so good.

When Cherry Garcia and her father go on a routine vampire case, the worst case scenario happens and turns her life upside down. Overwhelmed by grief, she decides the best thing to do is to keep working... and finds herself in the middle of a dangerous zombie situation.

This was an excellent novella set in a very interesting world filled with monsters. I really liked Cherry and the strong bonds she has with her family. I also enjoyed reading about her

Born in the middle of nowhere, Leanne spent her childhood hunting faeries in fields and mermaids in rock pools. She never really grew out of it and- when she couldn't find any she decided to write and draw her own.

She has a love of violence and is never happier than when she is putting an unsuspecting character through fresh hell.
