I just ... no. It has always been called M/M with exclusive M/F scenes.
Why is the blurbs at Sirenbookstrand then only M/F?

I feel cheated and run over.
Disappointed might even be a good word, too.

Why did I start this series again?
Oh yeah, because the next installment in one of her thousand ongoing series won't be out before April due to her sudden desire with writing M/F.

Bingo-lingo !

I really wanted to love this series, but its been just ok. I usually read Lynn Hagen when I'm in the mood for some hot man love & while this book did have a scene or two with Rick & Dorian from book 1- the focus was on Isabelle, Ricks sister. Lots of betrayals and aggravating turns of events while on the run - so be ready.

I have to admit I had misgivings about reading the next book in this series, since Lynn Hagen has (to my knowledge) been up to this point a MM writer (or at least mostly). I was... impressed! I thought, though it seemed a bit slow getting off the ground getting Isabelle and Edward together, that it was very nicely put together. Lots of new twists and some changelings falling by the way in betrayal and lots of intrigue. By the time we get to the end I'm going to pull all my hair out.

I have been reading this author for a while now and she mostly rights M/M exclusively so I was interested to see how the main M/F pairing in the 2nd installment of this series was going to work. This was definitely a bit of a different book than Ms. Hagen's typical fare and for the most part I enjoyed it. There were some scenes that left me going errrr huh but overall I thought it was a good continuation of the overall story arc.

Edward, King of the Wererats and a half breed to boot, is looking f
This is stupid. Instead of getting revenge on the guys who've been beating and torturing him, Edward goes after the sister of the guy he thinks should have rescued him, but didn't. Contrived, implausible plot much?

Did I mention Edward is a misogynistic psycho?

“Oh, Rhett, you are going to make me swoon,” Dorian teased as he fanned his face. --------Note that the character's name is RICK! Bad editing. Kinda killed the mood. Bwahhhahha!

This was M/F with M/M scenes. I was on the fence before I purchased it since I read mostly M/M.

Lynn Hagen loves writing about the somewhat flawed, but lovable. She also loves a hero who can see past all the rough edges to find the shining diamond of a beautiful heart.

You can find her on any given day curled up with her laptop and a cup of hot java, letting the next set of characters tell their story.
