this was a good boob its about a boy named Darren Shan and he is half vampire and half human. he needs to pass five scary trials to prove that he can be into the vampire clan. if he fails he is going to need to go to the halls of death. where you have no choice but to die. the only problem is that vampire mountain has hidden threats. a lot of people come to watch. in this nightmare world of blood and horror and betrayal the best thing may be to die. but he passes and he is finally excepted in ...more

This is the fifth book of the Cirque Du Freak series. In this book Darren is a half vampire but everyone looks down at him because he is only half of what they are. To be reconized as a full vampire, he needs to endure 5 deadly trials. In 1 part of the book darren has to go threw trials of death to see if he is a 100% full vampire and not just half of a vampire. The 1st trial if a water maze. Darren almost died in the water maze because he couldnt find the door with a X on it so he could escape the maze and move on. The main character, Darren Shan takes part in the Trials of Initiation. The trials are a series of tasks that vampires used to have to do to prove themselves to the Princes. Now it is only used for vampires who want to become a general or that want to show their strength, but Darren Shan has to endure the trials because Mr. Crepsley said so and Darren chooses to stand up for his mentor and friend.

Trials of death is the 5th part of the series written by Darran Shan. In this book hakrat is envloled in a huge way when he saved darran from what may be a painfull death in the 4th trail. Mr crepsly doesnt play much of a role in this because he is doing other things but stays with darran to make sure his trails are going well and he is staying healthy. In Cirque Du Freak Trials Of death, Daren has to go through five trails to prove himself worthy to the vampire clan and if he does not complete the task he faces death! The main characters in this book are mostly Darren because most of the book is mostly about him. Book 5 is good because you learn more about the vampaneze which are the vampires arch enemies.

This is probably the first book in the whole series that I really enjoyed. I liked the other books in the series, but this one actually captured and held my attention, making me want to read the book. I'm going to make a prediction here: (This is a *slight* spoiler, so don't read this next sentence if you haven't read the book yet! Ye hath been warned.) Kurda is the Vampaneeze Lord!

This has been my favorite Darren book so far! It's completely action packed and because it's the turning point for Darren's hero journey, it's a fast and terrible (in the good way) ride!

In the 5th book of the series, Darren continues on his journey to earn the reputation of himself. He didn't give up but he pushed harder as his experiences get more difficult. Darren has to go through a maze and survive a 5 day trail of death in order of becoming a full vampire, and get his full respects from the other vampires.

in this book Darren has to pass a bunch of trails to prove himself worthy of being a vampire. Alot of things happen during this book and in someways is like the big changing point for the seris. He has to do some hellish and hard trails to prove himself worthy.
Worest of all is that if Darren fails the trail, he is ordered to die. In all of the trails if you fail they won't rescue you, you just die. So without the luck of the vampire, passing the trails isn't a easy thing. Espically since Da...more

In the book Trials of Death, the main character Darren has to go through trials to prove he is a good vampire. Darren Shan's Trials of Death showed a whole new side to a lot of the characters.
Darrren shows his bravery in this book. I used to think of him as a little kid and a coward but he shows maturity in the book. This is the 5 book in the cirque du freak books. Darren is about to participate in dangerous trials that will test him. If he fails one he will be killed. He passes the first 3 trials but fails the next. As he is awaiting the verdict he is snuck out by a vampire. The vampire kills another and darren try's to warn everyone. In the end darren is swept away in a river.

In this book darren is in vampire mountian to take the trials of death wich are the test that join you to the ranks of the vampire generals. Many vampires have years to prepair for the tests and they are like 200 years old and darren is 15 with no time to prepair. He passes the first two trials but then for the third trial there is an interfearence and everyone is debateing weather he should die or not. He aslo finds out kurda is working with the vampanez. kurda is then killed.
