The final book in my trilogy. This will make you cry, laugh, scream, cry some more, scream and then probably cry some more. But I promise, it's worth it.

I am so, so sad that this trilogy had to end. Part of me wishes that it could have continued into a longer series, but the rest of me is very satisfied with how everything was resolved. I absolutely loved this series (especially books two and three), and will miss all of the characters that I've had so many fantastic adventures with. Bravo, Nicole MacDonald! You created a fantasy world that I truly enjoyed being a part of.

This book started off at a slower pace than the first two books in the tri

I was so sad to have this story finally end. I discovered this trilogy about two years ago, and I wait impatiently for each book. The story is interesting and the characters are very well portrayed. There are some we love and some we hate, and some we love to hate. This final installment did not disappoint. There was heartbreak throughout the book (which I love!!) and the excitement of Cat leading the troops into battle kept me glued to my Kindle. There was even a little twist near the end. A ...more

OMG!!!!! What a fitting ending to such a wonderful series!!! I didn't know what to expect for the final installment of the Birthright Trilogy but OMG did it deliver!!! I laughed, I cried, my heart soared, I was utterly shocked, then cried some more!!! So sad to see this story end, but it ended so perfectly!!! I can't imagine it any different. Wonderful!!!

I loved this series. The beginning of this book had me in literal tears, the ending had me smiling. Though I'm sad this trilogy is over I'm so happy I read it. It truly is a great story and I encourage anyone willing to go on an open-minded ride to read the whole trilogy.

Loved this book, It was truly an inspiration and made me escape reality for a little while. I guess that is why I have read all 3 of the first set quite a few times LOL.

There was 3-4 star struggle here but not because of the book itself. It was one main point that I could not let go of which is mostly because I can be a little bloodthirsty, especially when characters are awful and get off lightly.

I started this series with a one click free book and found myself loving the world that it took me too. The characters became friends that I wanted to see get everything that they wanted, I worried about them and did not want to have anyone hurt or killed. I am totally caught up in the lives of the four girls and their soul mates. While I was waiting for the conclusion, I don't think I am really ready for it to end. With that said I still find that things drag a great deal with a little more ...more

A well written, well paced, fantastically done trilogy ender.

I had some reservations going into this final book. This trilogy has been a bit if a learning curve it seems; from the hesitant pace of the first, to the time jump of the second. Multiple cliffhanger-esque endings occasionally left me angry. But, the constant theme has been an overall improvement. As the trilogy progressed I really felt that the books became better; the writing was better, the story more fluid, and the development exce

From the first book to now I lived in a beautiful world. I especially adored the different points of view. It is not often you would get so many in a book but it is definitely need in this epic fantasy. The authors play with words sends you to a world where everything is real and anything is possible. I got the first book for free and I didn't think I would enjoy it but half way through I needed to purchase the second book and the third which I rarely would do. Also I never really read a boo

While I'm still not so sure about the title of this book, Feel the burn, I thought this was a wonderful conclusion to the series. The final battle is exceptionally well done. I loved and hated the various characters in this book, especially the four elementals, Cat, Sianny, Kass and Loi and their soul mates, the members of the Griffon Guard. The book was an emotional roller coaster, touching and satisfying at the same time. It will bring you to tears as it did me. I was more then happy with the ...more

Great read.

When I first started to read this trilogy it was a little hard to follow. However I picked up on the different view points quickly. I love this trilogy. I have laughed and cried. The emotions, the vivid pictures, the way Nicole MacDonald pulls you in and makes you feel like you are right there living with the characters. I could not put these books down. Highly recommend this series to everyone. I read in another review that this trilogy would make a great movie. I totally agree.

A wonderful conclusion to the series. The final battle is exceptionally well done. Reminiscent of Gemmell again. Tension builds nicely. The emotion is touching and will bring you to tears as it did me.
Satisfying. A few twists at the end which work okay. Good character development and the sex scenes are well done and believable.
Still some editing problems, but not enough to put me off.

So overall I liked this series. The big thing for me is there are a number of story lines that are left WAY open/unresolved. I want to know what happened. I like when things are left open for us to put our own twist on things, but this is just a bet much. Hope she puts out a spin off or something to resolve some of them. Otherwise a good ending.

Did no one else notice the blatant rape in this book that was never addressed by the author? I enjoyed the book and the series, despite the poor editing, but the fact that a character could rape another and then the plot line just forgets to even address this later on was extremely jarring for me and made me reflect negatively on the entire series and the author.

Only read the first quarter, but cannot continue. Goes on and on and on and on... about Cat's grieving- could have been easily expressed in less than one chapter. The rest of it just comes across as teenage antics, absolutely no depth in characters.

“Soldiers and allies of Elion, denizens of Gar’nyse, today we gather to do battle. Today we make a stand for those who can’t, for the innocent lives snatched, for those who stood against her and lost. For our loved ones in far away realms. I can’t guarantee any of us will make it home, but I can promise that victory will protect those loved ones and realms we left behind. Freedom from tyranny is a luxury few on Gar’nyse know. Here today we make a stand against the tyrant. Against those who desire to possess our world. Whether we rise or fall, all will know of this battle, of this stand we make. We will shake the ground. We will topple the castle and we will bring about the end of the DeNaga line!” 0 likes
