Recommends it for: Coaches, rowers who practice yoga, yogis who aspire to row
Shelves: rowing
Definitely a book for people who have devoted a great deal of thought to rowing, have a philosophical bent, and are open to some pretty unconventional sculling. This is yoga disguised as rowing.

First, know that this book is not much about Ned Hanlan. It is about his self-reflective methods and the great success he had. One of his technical accomplishments was to introduce a much longer slide than had previously been incorporated. Basically he took the slide from 6" to 26". This seem so intuitive
