Feel nothing. Sara Savitch's personal mantra has been hard to live by ever since her torrid one-night stand with army doctor Gideon Mandeville. Descended from the Seraphim, angels known as heaven's soldiers, Sara may be an expert fighter, but she's an amateur when it comes to relationships.

Physically unharmed, but still battle-scarred, Gideon has returned to Dallas in the

When the only man you have given yourself to returns after one war and a self-imposed exile to question your ability as a bodyguard for his father, shouldn’t you be angry? Shouldn’t you have gotten over him and moved on? Sara is no delicate flower, she is a powerful being born and raised to be a warrior with special abilities and being a protector is more than just a job to her, it is a way of life, she is the Savage Angel.

Someone is trying to kill Gideon’s father, a powerful and wealthy man, we

This one, provided to me by the publisher through Netgalley, was OK. I was actually pretty disappointed. I read Crime Wave in a Corset and REALLY enjoyed it, and was expecting something of a similar standard in a different genre, but it just didn't live up to my expectations. I hate it when that happens.

I should say that I haven't read the first one in this series, and, I'll be honest, I'm a forgiving kinda reader, so I like giving author's second (and third!) chances (only one, no two, authors

The only man Sara Savitch has ever been with, Gideon Mandeville, has been in her thoughts for years. She has sat by his father’s side during heart surgery recovery. She’s written him and left him messages while he was serving in the military but Gideon has been despondent ever since their encounter.

Now Gideon’s father’s life is being threatened by a serial killer. Gideon's father wants to hire Sara and her families security firm as protection. Gideon has returned from his military service a jade

Suh-weet. One badass, warrior woman with the blood of angels running through her versus a guilt-riddled doctor nursing some emotional wounds. My money's on the badass every time.

Seriously, this was a fun book. Sara is... umm, how to put this nicely? She's not very relationship savvy, let's say. Scary things happen when her emotions get the best of her and being around Gideon tangles her up something fierce. She has secrets. He has secrets. The only thing they're absolutely sure of is that they b

I wont be reviewing this title as I only got 40% of the way through before giving up...it's just not doing anything for me sorry.
Overly long winded and not enough in the storyline to keep me interested at this point :(
Sarah
Sara's family run a private protection firm and as nephilim they all have unique abilities that help them to keep their clients safe. They have also built up a worthy team of humans who work with them. For her whole life Sara has trained to become a warrior, she is skilled with weapons and in hand to hand combat and she isn't afraid of anything. Her latest job is to protect a close friend of her father who believes he is being targeted by a serial killer. This is the kind of job she excels at ...more

Although I enjoyed Savage Angel, the second book in Stacy Gail's Earth Angels series, there were a couple of things that niggled at me just a bit.

Sara Savitch is leading the security team for Noah Mandeville, one of her security firm's oldest and most loyal clients. Noah is recovering from a heart transplant, but that's not the problem. The problem is that someone is targeting every single recipient of organs from the same donor that provided Noah's new hea

Security specialist Sara Savitch, a warrior by birthright, has led her life protecting those who can't protect themselves. A novice in the relationship department, her "nuclear-hot" encounter with Gideon Mandeville, has never left her mind in the past year. She dreams of his touch and is disappointed that he hasn't kept in touch with her during his deployment in Afghanistan. Her latest job is to serve as bodyguard to his father, a family friend, and she's vowed to herself that she will stay away ...more

Recommends it for: some
I quite enjoyed this book, mainly because it’s pretty sexy, it has a kick-ass chick (literally, she kicks some serious ass), a hot, smart, alpha male, a serial killer, and the legend of the Nephilim -- the result of unions between the Seraphim (warrior angels, or “The Burning Ones”) and humans.

Sara and Gideon hooked up a year before at his going-away party, right before he left for Afghanistan. Coming back a year later, scarred mentally and emotionally, he doesn’t believe that Sara is up for the

Savage Angel is a roller coaster ride full of hair pulling, screaming, pity and hawtness. And yes, it was totally awesome! While the first book, Nobody`s Angel, wasnt really to my liking, I felt like the series really picked up with this one. There was a lot more ass-kicking, and a little less confusing. And I

Sara's life and family heritage have always been about protecting others. It's part of her lineage as a Nephalim and as the soon-to-be-head of her family's security firm. A new job is turning out to be more than she bargained for, however. The client is the father of a one-night-stand she has never been able to get over. And to make matters worse, her former lover is back to complicate things even further.

Gideon has just returned from a gut-wrenching tour in Afghanistan. While he escaped physica

I utterly fell in love with Nobody’s Angel, the first book in the Earth Angels series so couldn’t wait to get my hands on the sequel. With great anticipation I settled down for the night with Savage Angel, I expected to love it but in the end I was more disappointed than I have been in a long, long time.

I just do not understand what went wrong! The first book was amazing but I really, really didn’t like this one at all. I am so devastated I could cry and struggle

This was my favorite out of the two released thus far. The relationship was not quite as hurried in that the pair had met prior to this although didn't truly know one another.

Sara is a bodyguard/security specialist that has been put in charge of protecting an old family friend. The part that she dreads is running in to Gideon (the son) who she had a one-time extremely hot interlude with before he deployed to Afghanistan. She tried sending him emails and keeping in contact but he just disappeared

Savage Angel is an interesting paranormal love story. Sara has been harboring feelings for Gideon for a full year. They'd had a brief romantic fling and then he'd been shipped off to war. She is more than anxious to see him when he returns. But he's not the same man who left. When he pushes her away after insulting her, she loses it. She tells him to stuff his attitude and that he isn't interfering with her job, which is at this point is to keep his father safe from a possible serial killer. ...more

Well, I definitely liked this book better then Nobody's Angel, the first in the series, but still could care less about the characters. I liked Gideon more then Sara since he actually had a personality even though for most of the book he was a jerk, but he had his reasons I guess since he was suffering from PTSD. I didn't get the flip he did in his feelings though. One minute he almost seemed to hate Sara then two paragraphs later he'll do anything to have and protect her. Sara was just too ...more

The Earth Angel series is brilliant.

When I reviewed "Nobody's Angel" I loved Zeke. But now in "Savage Angel" I meet Gideon and Zeke has a run for his money!

Stacy Gail has some great men in her life *wink*

More seriously, the series story arc is intriguing and the individual novellas each offer a complete and exciting adventure romance. The mythology underpinning the paranormal element is fascinating and filled with conflict -- no spoilers from me!

In "Savage Angel" the issues of PTSD are explored

Great intense suspense and Romance. Doesn't get any better than this!
Loved the Heroine, she is strong, of course she is. Her Hero also is very strong, but damaged from fighting for his country.
