I loved this series as a tween, and was reminded of them by some sort of 80s nostalgia piece.

I do wish that people who complain about kids today not reading Great Literature would remember how bubblegum a lot of 80s YA and kidlit was, though; it's not like there was some mythical age when everyone read Great Expectations and liked it.

Honestly, in terms of variety & quality, I think we're in a YA & Children's Lit Golden Age by comparison.

Owned this groan-worthy book as a pre-teen and just saw some reference on a website. Two identical twins switch places for a week to escape their school-induced labels as "quiet" and "outgoing."

'This plan of our is so outrageously crazy, my dear twin sister, so widly off-the-wall and totally bizzare, that it just might work!'

Read these as a preteen back in the 80s! Fun teeny-bopper romances, lol.
