Red Hot Internet Publicity is the kind of book you must read using a highlighter and post-it notes. Warning: You will spring into action less than five pages into the first chapter. And it won’t stop. Sansevieri’s book promotion advice is meant for you to get out there and do it. She expertly leads you by the hand and shows you the way.

This is one of the best marketing books I've read! It's extremely well organized and Ms. Sansevieri covers a lot of material. She covers everything from A to Z in a very orderly fashion and in terms that the reader can easily understand and relate to. There are lists and lists of relevant resources as well as the pros and cons for various marketing strategies. Highly recommended!
It's good. So much of social media is changing so fast that I'm just not sure how it can stay relevant. She has good tips for building social media base and blog commenting, but as a writer, I have serious doubts about the effectiveness of social media for publicity. Social media seems to follow normal media--people talk about what they see on TV, rarely is it the other way around. You want a book to take off on Goodreads, Facebook or Twitter, let Oprah, Fox and Friends, Jon Stewart do a show ab...more
Great information on many aspects of marketing books through the Net, with everything from running a virtual book tour to using SEO and making your Web site more effective. "Red Hot Internet Publicity" will help you see your presence online as a business and give you the tools to build that business. I'll be reading back through and compiling my own action notes.

Wow...Nearly finished with this and it could really overwhelm even the savvy author. That said, the authoress makes a huge point of saying that you need to take your time, try one suggestion at a time and only stay with those things you find comfortable and/or are working.
Lots of great links to other promo ideas too. This book will keep me busy adding good things to my Promotions repetoire for months/years.
