To Justin Norton, an impending blizzard is the perfect time to push the limits. The last thing he expects to encounter on the trail is a dazed woman next to her overturned snowmobile--especially since that woman is his former lover Kylie Fisher, the bartender he’s been slowly rebuilding a friendship with over a shared love of basketball and lager. He's had some pretty ...more

So wow. Closer to 4-1/2 stars.

This was not what I expected. I wasn't quite sure I was really reading a Cari Quinn story at first, because it started out as a fuck fest. A well-written, steamy fuck fest, but a fuck fest. We usually learn a bit about the characters first before they jump into bed, but as the story went on, it was like peeling an onion. A hint here, a flashback there, a fleeting emotion, another layer revealed... and we learn that both of these characters have deep-seated issues,

It's pretty known by now that I adore Cari Quinn's writing and when I adore an author's writing I want to read everything they've written. I've fallen a bit behind with Cari's and hadn't gotten around to reading MELT yet. Inevitably the authors Iadore have also written a book or two that don't quite work for me the way most of their work does and with Cari Quinn it was MELT.

The love story between Kylie and Justin just didn't work for me despite it being a friends-to-lovers story, which is one o

After a one night stand in college, Justin and Kylie have reconnected platonically as adults. When circumstances put them together and provide opportunities for them to rekindle both the sexual and emotional feelings between them, can they get past their own hang ups to make it work?

I liked these two characters.Kylie isn't a push over, even though Justin is a little messed up in the head. They do manage to burn up the sheets, but Justin basically can't disassociate what Kylie needs in the bedro

First of all, Melt by Cari Quinn should come with a warning or caution: sex scenes hot enough to melt your e-reader.

Whew! Ms. Quinn did a fantastic job with this erotically charged story. Second chance stories are hands down one of my favorites to read and Melt is definitely a beautiful and very erotic second chance story of two friends and former lovers finding their way back to one another.

Justin and Kylie were great characters who had amazing chemistry and of course great sex to go along with

I really enjoyed this book. Both of the main characters had issues. It was great to see a couple of cared for each other but were willing to work on themselves so they could b together. Justin Norton is such a damaged man. He began to understand his reactions to Kylie were strong enough that he needed to deal with his past and how it affected him. Kylie also understood that she had made some bad choices. Working to understand those choices prepared her for the relationship she really wanted and ...more

This story is called Melt. Will it make you melt when you read it? That is for you, yeah even you, to read and find out. I can tell you this though, that cover made me want to melt in to a puddle of goo on the floor. Oh dang the hotness of that cover was just a little to attractive and had me keeping me on the edge of my seat until I read it. Once I did read it well...... That is all you get for now. Read and find out what I mean.

Melt is definitely melt worthy! The steam factor is high and the characters' chemistry is off the hook! They have history and one has been secretly in love with the other for years. Neither realizes what the other has hidden behind their public persona---down and dirty sexual desires. When the two come together, they are explosive. This is a fun, quick read!

Didn't find this novel too good to be honest. Yes the hero and heroine hooked up after the heroine and Rob split but it was very vanilla and then when it got a bit sinful the hero freaked out. In fact the hero had a lot of hang up and even though it worked out in the end, as a whole I didn't like the novel too much.

This was such a hot, quick read! I love stories of old friends re-connecting and then re-discovering one another. Yum!
