"The relentless pull of love is a thousand times harder to fight than the tides. If you're lucky, you'll make it out before you drown. If you're even luckier, you're pulled under just long enough to wash away the sorrow. If you're really lucky, like me, you resurface just in time to find the one you love floating right beside you." -Claire

3.5 "Where we love is home.' beautiful stars.

This book is about a lost girl, Claire Nixon, who is trying to find her way through the shitty life she's been dealt.... She has a dead mother, no father, a history of life in the care system, a lost love, a new love and a huge, there's no-going-back-from, secret.

To help herself cope, Claire meditates... all the time... it seems a little random at first but you actually get used to it by the end of this book and completely accept it in book two.

Honestly, Relentless was a FANTASTIC SURPRISE for me!! I adore opening a new book, from a new-to-me author, settling in to read with very few expectations, and becoming completely absorbed

When i first read the blurb...and it was about a love triangle...i thought it was going to be like Thoughtless? Nope, it is nothing like it at all. I don't want to spoil anything so i'm going to make this as short as possible. This is the story about 20 yr old college student, Claire, 21 yr old musician, Chris, and 22 yr old surfer Adam.
Claire and Chris dated for 3 yrs, were soul-mates, she broke up with him to let him pursue his music and tour, h

“I guess we both had to lose something to find each other.”

Relentless is about a nineteen year old girl named Claire who is just trying to move forward, day by day. Her upbringing was not an ideal one, but she was happy. That is, until her mother died of a drug overdose. From then on, she has been moved from one foster home to another. She finally finds a woman that cares about her and a son, Chris, that shows her what love is

Relentless is live on Amazon now!

Now live on Barnes and Noble!

I'm sure the others will get it together soon. :-)
“I want to make love to you,” he whispers as his lips brush my temple and leave a burning trail down the side of my face before he reaches my ear. “I want to leave you dazed and confused for a week with nothing but my name on your lips.”

I really enjoyed this one. I love an anguished, tortuous ride with our characters and Cassia Leo totally delivers. This is one of those stories that you know right from the very beginning that the characters have dark secrets in their past that have lasting eff

In case you’ve never heard of this genre, New Adult is a recent fiction category about 20-somethings who are legally adults but who are still figuring out what it means to be a grown up. I had a disastrous start with the genre but I’m glad I decided to give Relentless a try.

Relentless is a story about learning to live with yourself after making difficult decisions. It’s about dealing with pain and finding the fortitude

I loved the really cool music feature this book has where you can click on the name of the song in the scene and it takes you to YouTube to watch the video of it; this novel has a beautiful playlist...

I gotta say I wasn't a big fan of Claire she just had too many issues going on and I wish her personality was a bit stronger and more centered . This book has a love triangle but so far I'm team Adam all the way...

Wow! I LOVED Relentless by Cassia Leo. I seriously read it in like three hours because I couldn’t put down the book! I was rushing so fast to read it because I was dying to know Claire’s secret and let me just say this… this is a secret I did not see coming. Sometimes in books when characters are hiding something when it is finally revealed, you think, “Really, that’s it?” Well don’t worry because this time the secret is HUGE and I really did not see it
What a great story! I am really looking forward to reading the second book in this series! I am a bit anxious though. I know the road wont't be easy for Adam and Claire.

Wow. That was a whole bunch of messed up stuff. I'm not really sure how I feel about this one. I think the one character I really like is Chris.

Claire is one messed up chick. Her childhood and recent past have done a number on her. Her secret, well, usually they come out and I feel like the character is feeling guilty over something that isn't their fault, or isn't that bad. This time, no, I pretty much feel like she did something she should feel really bad about (view spoiler)

“You think I can’t see it? You think I can’t see that I’m sinking like a stone and no one, not even you, can rescue me?”

I love nothing more than a book that grips you from the very first page and holds your attention to the very last. This story was not what I expected it to be at all. It had me from the get-go and now I want MORE!

I have to say it again! Cassia Leo you never disappoint!

I was expecting a good story, because I read all of Cassia's other books and she accomplished something no other author ever did for me, so I never doubt it going in to Relentless that I would like it. But...
Oh God that was not a good story, not at all, that was an honest AMAZING one.

Claire and Adam were troubled from the beginning! And from day one, when they meet, they captured me and never let me go.

So, lets get the important part out of the way... I'm team Chris.

Ok, so that makes no freaking sense because this book is about the relationship between Adam and Claire, but I'm sticking with it at this point.

This book surprised me. I thought for sure this was a story of a just Adam and Claire and the secrets they harbored and finding their way to love. While it had that, it turned into so much more with that ending. I'm very intrigued by where this is going and I'm guessing at some point, there

I re-read this again this morning to relived the story of Adam, Claire and Chris!!! Same excitement that I felt while reading this. Felt loved, cry all along with Claire, feeling sorry for her for what she did but then again RIGHT NOW I'm so excited to read "Pieces of You". woot woot!

Finished my ARC copy of Relentless all I can say is WOW Great Read!

I'm not going to go into the plot or giveaway anything but I'll just say:

I was hooked from page 1 and I did not put it down until I finished the whole thing.
I loved the characters and I felt every emotion Claire was going through.

Not sure what happened. It just didn't capture my interest. I wouldn't dissuade others from reading it, just because it didn't work for me doesn't mean it won't work for you. I encourage others to give it a try.
So is it just me or is everyone team Chris? What has Adam done that's so special? Yeah he's a nice guy, but he will eventually make mistakes too. So Chris made some, but he still loves her and is willing to prove it. I am so for Chris and I would be surprised if the author could change my feeling on this one.

This was one of those books that once I started I couldn't PUT IT DOWN!!! It was THAT AWESOME...Ladies, I started and I got.......

When the book opens Claire is at working at the coffee shop and there's a little incident with a "roided" out dude in a Tap Out shirt. Yes, this was quite humorous but what wasn't funny was the "flashback" that poor Claire had that gives us a small glimpse at what had happened when Claire was 7 years old. This will make you.......

This is the first book I have read penned by Cassia Leo, and if it's any indication of what I can expect in her other books, then I have found a new author to stalk. This book pulled me in and it refused to be put down. I finished it in less than 24 hours.

Oh I loved this book, such a sweet and heartbreaking story all in one! From the description you can see there are some secrets between our main characters, but I was not expecting it to be what it was.
