I love these Casey Jones mysteries. Casey is duped early in this story and vows to prove that Tawney Bledsoe's husband is innocent of a murder that Casey believes Tawney committed. This was a fast paced, foul mouthed, page turner. Loved it!

Unlike many crime series that go into autopilot, Munger's tales of an outrageous southern woman detective get better as the characters become more familiar. Just the right mix of hilarity and sobering emotional issues.
