I think this book if appropriate for a kindergarten class since it doesn't offer much for older kids. I think it would be a good book if you are on the subject of swimming and want to encourage students not to be afraid of water. I think that the illustrations aren't all the terribly great to look at but I don't think young children would mind much.
Not a terribly compelling story, though it might do the trick for a kid afraid to swim.
Still, the final "song" at the tend is just terrible!
"Swim swim swim
I like and love my Grampa
We have a pretty towel
Make the team, Baby duck!"
That is, of course, is where the title comes from, but it's just the lamest thing I've ever read.
