Good book. Anna had loved Tripp since they were teenagers but she saw him marry her friend Gayle instead. They moved away from Jackson Hole as Tripp started his career in hospital management. Tripp's parents really want him to settle down and see his friendship with Anna as a stepping stone. With Tripp's dad fighting cancer, he asks Anna to pretend to ...more

More of a 2.5.

There's nothing I like better than the pangs of unrequited love when the H doesn't seem to want to move on from his lost love. Be she alive or dead.

This didn't quite meet expectations becuase it had the whole I loved my wife, I don't want you, I want you thing going on. This is the first book I have read in this series. It was a great story. This is the story of Adrianna who has had a crush on Tripp since she was 14 and he helped her. She is now a midwife, getting ready to turn 30 and Tripp is back in town. Tripp has moved back to Jackson Hole. He is a CEO of the hospital and a widower. He doesn't feel ready for another relationship and is just friends with Adrianna who he asks to attend parties with him. He then asks her to pretend to be his girlfriend for 30 ...more

Even though I hate the whole pretend-to-date-for-?- reason premise, I thought this was a good story.
