Florence and her stuffed toy monkey Arnold are in trouble for eating too many cookies. Mom has put a ration on cookies. For the time being, they can have, NO MORE COOKIES! Florence is very upset and she and Arnold work on many plans to convince mom to let them have just one cookie. This is an absolutely adorable book and will be enjoyed by children ages 2-7. This is a book you may want to revisit, or your kids may want to hear again and again. It's good enough to buy a copy in paperback.

Ever heard someone say they wanted just one more cookie? This book is for them. Florence and her stuffed monkey, Arnold, try all sorts of tricks to try to get Mom to give them just one more cookie. The plans all fail, but they keep trying! Eventually, Mom helps them make something even better than cookies--Magic Monkey Bananas! (Recipe included)

Good for preschool or toddler storytimes.
