While it was not as spooky as I had hoped, it was a very interesting collection and fun to read. It actually made me long to return to London and revisit some of the places listed. I really appreciated the maps that came before each chapter and that the haunted places were divided into groups by location. It is very easy to find what you are looking for and how to get there, with contact details and transport links listed for each location. Not in itself scary, but if you are one who goes in for ...more

I am finsihed reading Haunted London by Richaard Jones and it was a really good book. It told me about all of the haunted places in London and what happened in it.

It was a really good book I liked when it told me places that are haunted and what happened in them like one a person hauntes a place because their master killed them with a sword. If you like books that are scary this is the book for you. I could not read this book at night so I read it in the morning and after school and during sch
Essentially, this book is a tourist guide for the seekers of spooky, mysterious sites. Along with maps, transport and contact details, there is a brief description of each site and the nature of its "hauntedness".

The reason I liked this guide was mostly because of its account of lesser known places in London, that actually contain a rich history. It doesn't just invite you to visit them, but also search for more details of their history. I believe A history of london books should be on my to-re

This isn't exactly a book you can read cover to cover. It's more of a tourist guide for those who might be traveling to London and want to visit allegedly haunted spots. It has a brief write up of the site and who is believed to haunt the place and at the bottom of every page is contact information, a website (where applicable) and the nearest Underground stop(s) to access the site. The book is divided into geographic sections with an accompanying map for each section.
I love London and I love participating in ghost tours whenever I travel. I have been to some of the places mentioned in this book. And I intend to go back to visit the rest of the haunted places noted in this book.

Very interesting. Makes me want to go on a ghost hunting trip, but not sure I would be brave enough.

Great read about haunted spots in London. Lots of out of the way places and not just the usual ones.
