În acest număr ne întâlnim cu Thor care este în căutarea așa numitului zeului Măcelar care a omorât numeroși zei. Thor dorește răzbunare și umblă din lung în lat pentru a-l găsi pe acest criminal care a măcelărit atât de mulți zei importanți (nu se presupune însă că toți zeii sunt importanți prin nemurirea lor și faptele lor eroice? also, cum poți omorî un zeu care este nemuritor?).

Spre deosebire de Deadpool, Thor nu oferă același dinamism însă vom vedea scene din lupte care se desfăș

The more I read of Jason Aaron the less I like his writing. Not sure exactly what it is but it just rubs me the wrong way like he is using writing tricks that simulate depth but are actually just repetitions of things written other places. I did actually enjoy the first issue in this volume. That's what gave this one star. The farther into the book I went the less I read. Pretty soon I just flipped through the art. Too bad I had really wanted to like this series. Waste of time.
