Lorilei Adams was forced to take on a larger role when her pack was being terrorized by another pack. Having lost everything that meant something to her, Lorilei is physically and mentally tired and ready to give it all up to the alphas of Green Pine Sanctuary.

Colin has spent his life as an enforcer for the council. He was their judge, jury, and executioner against rogue wolves, but he never loo

This book picks up right were the first book left off, but it shifts focus and gives us two new lead characters to focus on. Colin Knox and Lorelei Adams are the next two Green Pines Sanctuary wolves to get their turn at romance. This story felt more powerful than the first one from the get-go and I think it was because the two main characters both have darker histories and so much more to overcome before they can come together. The main plot line is their developing romance, but sinister things ...more

Lorelei and Colin are both trying to find their place at the wolf sanctuary Green Pines. Lorelei has a troubled, heartbreaking past that she’s trying to deal with, by not dealing with it and Colin, an enforcer for the pack, wants to help her but doesn’t know how. They don’t act on their feelings initially, the pack is already dealing with many issues and trying to bring everyone together into one pack is proving to be an ordeal. But when Ja
Holy smokes! I forgot how much I adore these wolves and their messed up lives. Seriously, this pack has had it rough and they're nowhere near healed from their experiences in Memphis. They all need massive quantities of hugs and lots of time finding themselves again so they can be happppppy again.

I'm not sure whether I feel more for Lorelei and her obvious pain and brokenness or Colin and his hidden issues. I'm *almost* leaning toward Colin just because he doesn't even realize what a wreck he is

Do not let the three star rating fool you: I'm actually really disappointed that the series stops here. I want more!

E: If you have been following The Bookpushers website or any of our twitter accounts for a while you will have noticed that we are huge fans of Moira Rogers because of their ability to build very diverse worlds, strong intriguing characters, and compelling storylines. I’m really into this new Green Pines series by Moira Rogers. Though all of her books have evil to fight, tortured characters who need healing, who need help finding their way, this series takes all of that and more to a new level.

Haunted Wolves picks up some weeks after Haunted Sanctuary. Terrified and nearly without hope, these wolves who have escaped the evils of Memphis and its scumbag of an alpha are trying to get their lives back on track. But it’s going to be one long, hard road. Lorelei i

I do really enjoy Moira Rogers' sexy shifter stories. But while there were parts of the book I really liked, I had just a few niggles that kept this from being a home run for me.

The past few years of Lorelei's life have been miserable. She has lost her son, nearly lost her sanity, and endured the destruction of her pack. She has barely held it together, but now, she has two new alphas to give her the safety and peace she has been sorely lacking.

Colin is attracted to Lorelei but her abus
This review was requested by the publicist of the author. I did enjoy the first in the series, hence the agreement to the review, but that wouldn’t have influenced my decision. I did not get paid for this review but have dealt with the author in the past.

Do not read this book if you haven’t read the first in the series. You will be confused and, to be honest, in places I was a little confused even though I had reviewed it. I am a bit of scatter brain and had issues remembering the back story of

HAUNTED WOLVES is book two in the Green Pines series and begins where the last book finished off. As a result, I think it’s imperative that you this series in order. There is a shift of focus to a new couple, Colin and Lorelei. In comparison, this second installment is far most angsty than the first. Lorelei has some secrets that she has been hiding from everyone, however Colin is the one person who sees through it like glass.

It is their dark dance that is most appealing to readers. I think it

I loved this book. I really loved it, and I know it’s the first of a trilogy and I’m anxiously awaiting the next book. Sebastian Lock and Sophia Pearce are some of my new favorite characters.

I’m not always a fan of first person stories in erotic romance stories, but Sophia is such a fun character. I loved being in her head. Her thoughts and the way she’s a daredevil at times, she’s someone I would love to go to bar with. She’s adventurous, fun, and just the lady that everyone needs as a best fr

Reading this series makes me a little sad. So many of the pack is broken, but what makes it worse is that they know it. They are working to come back, but it is a long road, one that comes with lots of bumps.

Colin and Loreli are no different than the others at Green Pines, broken like the others. Both of them have issues from their past that they are running from, issues different from those that made them come to Green Pines. Those issues made it hard for them to try to get better because in or

I loved Haunted Sanctuary, so when Haunted Wolves release approached I e-mailed and requested an review copy. And Bree graciously sent me one :).

This is a poignant tale, with a theme of taking the steps to heal past scars. And the most poignant part was Lorelei's and Colin's romance. I loved it. From the first step to acknowledging the spark, to acting on it, to starting to build a relationship. Both Lorelei and Colin had their scars, and I really appreciated how they started to trust each other

I don’t really give a rat-fuck that there are some who think I ‘owe’ an explanation for my opinion. Nope, nada, and not sorry about it.

Sometimes I may add notes to explain what my opinions are based on, and sometimes I don’t. I do this for me, on my books, in my library and I don’t ‘owe’ any special snowfla

Haunted Wolves is the second in this new spin off series, and it's a story of healing, acceptance and forgiveness. Lorelei and Colin are protectors. Taking care of others is their nature, but they're both burned out and exhausted. They've seen too much death, and have too much pain in their lives to admit they need someone to love and care for them. I loved this theme because it's a real world problem that many people experience. Add in that they are both stubborn and afraid to be truthful about ...more

Lorelei is a strong character. She had experienced loss and abuse, and had made choices which others may judge her harshly for, but did so to protect herself and others. Colin has judged many and has somewhat distanced himself from others, but he is attracted to Lorelei. They are dealing with their pasts, but also attracted to each other. I liked seeing their relationship grow and how they supported each other.
Shifter Colin Knox is tired, as his work as an executioner, he doesn’t have friends and lacks the intimacy he so greatly desires. All those feelings are tightly wrapped when meets Lorelei Adams. Lorelei is a survivor, she is off limits, and she is still healing. Despite everything Lorelei is dealing with, she wants Colin even if he keeps trying to put her in the friend zone.

This is the second book of the Green Pines series by Moira Rogers and is the story of Colin, an enforcer who is now based at Green Pines and Lorelei, one of the women escaped Christian Peters and found sanctuary at Green Pines.

Their is evil magic being used at Green Pines and Colin is determined to protect not only the pack , but more importantly Lorelei.

I loved all the angst of Lorelei's past and watching Colin find the balance between being a protector and being Lorelei's man was fantastic. I adore this series and once again I was left wanting to yell "what's next?!" when I got to the last page.
