In "West of the Texas Nebula," Lyndon Perry and Dan Devine have teamed up to present a fast-paced, entertaining "space western" story. For those who may be unfamiliar with this genre, space westerns take Western-type plots and characters and transplant it into a more science fiction-style setting. This story of an old-fashioned power struggle grabs the reader from the very beginning and doesn't let up until the very end. Excellent!

A nice little space western that dives straight into the action. With imagery that reminded me of some outposts in Firefly and that of the Old West - and dialogue to match. Great little read.
