I was given this book, ahead of Montana Mustangs, in exchange for an honest review, Lovers of Paranormal.

From the blurb I hadn't realised this would be Greek Mythology related - that was a winner from the start for me.

Beau has it all hitting him at once. His need to prove he is right about his dig is running out of time and then his estranged son lands on his doorstep at the same time he he meets a woman that he is instantly drawn to - Ariadne. This story follows the relationships of Beau and Ar...more

I received a copy of this book from LoP in exchange for an honest review.

I really struggled to write this review. I love paranormal and mythology books, so this should have been a home-run for me. However, I never connected to the characters. Ariadne is a nymph trying to keep the secret of all Nymphs existence hidden. Beau is an archaeologist who is about to uncover the Labyrinth on Crete. It would be the biggest discovery in centuries, yet Ariadne can't let him discover the secret of the Siste...more

**I received a free copy of this book (from the author thanks to goodreads group Lovers of Paranormal) in exchange for an honest review.**

Absolutely loved this one!!! I have always been a fan of Greek mythology and this was a perfect Greek myth book. It had mystery, adventure, and the grand theme of love conquers all :).
Extremely well written, dialogue did not feel forced at all. Even the diabolical Kat was a likable character! Think Starvos was the only character I just despised and I'm gue...more

I really enjoyed reading this story although I made a mistake of reading Montana Mustangs first but both can be read as a stand alone.

I loved Greek mythology and it this one was probably the first book I've read that involved the other characters besides the gods/goddesses. Ariadne has shown great strength in terms of improving from being a weaker person in the beginning but as it continues she learns to stand up for herself. It was a big relief for me and all smiles that she chose to stay with...more

I really enjoyed this book. I think Beau and Ariadne are such great characters. I love how "human" the nymph's are even though they try not to be. I think Beau is such a great man. He tries so hard and just keeps getting knocked down. I enjoyed the little bit of history into Greek Mythology. I do not know much about it. The author gives us the right amount of information to help us understand what is going on without giving us a history lesson. I love the magic involved. I am such a sucker for w...more

I was given this to write a honest reviewfor the group lovers of the paranormal on goodreads.
This book is the first in the Nymph series of books. I had previously read book 3 and was pleased to be given the opportunity to read 1,2 and 4 which I recieved as an ARC.
Book one was a fantastic start to the series, I found it difficult to put down. I found it to be well written with a good plot. There were a mixed bag of characters in this one goodies and baddies, the main two Ariadne and Beau were f...more

First of all I love archaeology, I love mythology and I love Greece! Needless to say I quite fell into love with The Nymph's Labyrinth! I expected the story to be just about romance but there was a nice touch of suspense with the Sisterhood protecting their secrets and beau hunting to find the Labyrinth of the Minotaur, there was so much to like!

I loved Ariadne, she had the sweet juxtapose character she was quite obedient with her Sisterhood but showed great character and power when she was with...more

Such a wonderful, Greek mythology inspired book! The Nymph's Labyrinth was fantastic.

I LOVE Greek mythology, so I delight in reading books inspired by it. And this book did not disappoint.

Ariadne, yes the one from the Theseus myth, was a lovely heroine. However, at the beginning, she's kind of a door mat. There was a reason for that, so it didn't bother me too much. Especially toward the ends when she toughened up and refused to let anyone run all over her. She's a likable heroine. I felt that s...more

What if the myths of ancient Greece weren't myths after all? If you are an American archaeologist you have to find the proof to secure your financing and prove you aren't a nutcase. That is what archaeologist Beau Morris is trying to do with the labyrinth from the myth of the Minotaur.

Ariadne is a nymph she and her sisters have been charged with keeping the secrets of the sisterhood and of her Goddess Epione, part of those secrets is a curse against any man that they may love.

I loved this take...more

When Goddess Epione spurns the advances of Zeus, he condemns the entire line of nymphs to never be able to fall in love with humans without the risk of killing them. Upon her death at the hand of Zeus, Epione's glass scepter is taken and housed in a hidden labyrinth in Crete for protection. The nymph sisterhood has maintained secrecy and kept the labyrinth a secret for thousands of years.....until now.

Dr. Beau Morris is in Crete looking for proof of the mythical labyrinth and the staff that is s...more

I have a thing for authors that step outside the norm and try something different. So when I saw a new series featuring Nymphs I was all in and I'm really glad I gave The Nymph's Labyrinth a try. The writing style hooked me right away and had me reaching for my Nook every chance I could during the day. With intriguing characters and an interesting take on mythology Winters created a fun world that easily pulled me in.

The gist? Archaeologist Beau has put everything in his life, including his son...more

Fast-forward to present day Crete. Archeologist Dr. Beau Morris believes that he has found the site of a mythical Labyrinth. His colleagues think that he is a crackpot, but he is determined to prove them wrong. Ariadne Papadakis, a millennia-old nym...more

The Nymph’s Labyrinth was the perfect blend of mythology, suspense and love.

I have always been a huge fan of anything Greek mythology and I admit the first thing that really caught my attention about this book was the lovely book cover. Yes, I judge books by their covers and a alluring book cover will snag my attention every time. So kudos to the cover designer! ;)

Ariadne was a curious mixture of strong and meek From the very start you can tell she is very strong but she does not show it outward...more

This was my third time reading anything by Danica Winters and I find myself enjoying her work more and more with each time! I enjoyed this story of Nymphs, so much so I found myself unable to stop reading (except for much needed sleep at the wee hours of the morning). Being my first time ever reading anything Nymph related, it was a great and exciting experience, one that I recommend to any other reader that enjoys a great paranormal romance and enjoys anything to do Greek Mythology.

What a great book. I've only recently gotten hooked on the paranormal genre, but The Nymph's Labyrinth isn't your typical paranormal. Here you enter a world where Greek Mythology meets contemporary Greece. I truly enjoyed learning about it when I was younger--and it seems my oldest boys have sparked my interest again while reading the Percy Jackson series--and I enjoyed returning once again.

Ariadne Papadakis isn't your typical paranormal heroine, this gal has some deep-seated issues she needs to...more

This is a really interesting series. I love the whole new twist on Greek Mythology! Both books hold a great story and more than a simple romance. There is suspense and intrigue to keep you on the edge of your seat! They were wonderfully paced and had delightful stories.

The characters were engaging and very loveable! I adored Ariadne and Beau in the first book. They really were a perfect pair. And their struggles were very relateable.

More sweet mainstream romance than steamy erotica. Even though...more

I was given a free copy of the book from the author for my honest opinion.

Beau Morris is an archeologist and a professor who is trying to prove that the Nymph's Labyrinth is real and does indeed exist. He needs to prove it for reasons of his own. Everything is going real good for Beau until he meets Ariadne Papadakis a Nymph and a member of the sisterhood of Epione. Ariadne is trying to get Beau's dig shut down.

The leader of the sisterhood Kat has always told Ariadne what to do. And Ariadne allo...more

I will admit to being a bit of a mythology junkie, so when the opportunity arose to read this book for a tour I grabbed at the chance. And I was not disappointed in the least. With a clever incorporation of myth into the everyday existence, Danica Winters has brought Ariadne to the forefront as she struggles between protecting the labyrinth from discovery or allow love to enter and perhaps endanger those she loves.

With a story-line that does not seem at all far-reaching or fantastical, the auth...more

Multi-published romance author Danica Winters spins a tale of a long-forgotten mythology come to life. Ariadne is a nymph and member of the Sisterhood of Epione, a group which preserves it secrets and has done so for millennia. When an American archaeologist begins to explore too deeply, Ariadne is tasked with stopping his progress. Yet her heart tells her differently: this is the love of her life. Will she continue to fall in line with the S...more

First I must state I love Greek Myths, so when I saw this offer, I couldn’t say no.

Ariadne runs a museum with a secret the secret labyrinth and she’s a shape shifter on an adventure. She’s not what I expected, but I liked her.

Beau Morris reminds me of Indiana Jones, and what I loved about him. I don’t know the modern day equivalent on Disney, but back in the day, this meant ruggedly sexy and super smart, making him double trouble. Beau reminded me of that hero. He sold me on this story. I’d risk...more

Recommends it for: everyone
I thoroughly enjoyed this book. The writing was quick and clear, the story line inventive and clever, the characters compelling, full of dimension and captivating. To be in Greece, if only through words on a page, is a gift, but this author gave me a desire to go back, to look more deeply at the ruins, and to care about the lush history that still lives in that blessed place. Much of what Ms. Winters has brought so vividly to life is rooted in truth – that history is never as far removed from th...more

Once more Danica Winters astounds with another unique concept, characters from settings straight out of historical myth. Her imagination takes characters and runs with them, into ever more intense danger and through encounters and traps that would kill lesser mortals. Or immortals! Loyalties are tested, but no more than true love in this fast paced adventure within an intriguing archeological context I found very engaging and interesting. The juxtaposition of ancient cults over modern science co...more

Just when you think everything could be normal and you are just doing your job hard at work things fall apart. In a archaeological dig this is what has happened. Setting out to prove some things are fact not fiction could be harder than realized and add a son dropped off at doorstep that you haven't seen in quite some time also a bit of a challenge. Also other people at work to shut you down unknowingly could be a bummer. This author has written quite the mystery and mayhem mixed with romance th...more

I received this book in exchange for an honest review from the Author and the “Lovers of Paranormal” Group on Goodreads.com

This book was enjoyable enough and a quick read. I liked the relationship between Beau and his son Kaden, their strained relationship had a rocky start but things improved as the story moved along. Ariadne was torn between keeping her secrets or helping the man she loved. I am not really a fan of Greek mythology but it was handled in a way that I did enjoy it.

I was given this book in exchange for an honest review (Lop or Lovers of Paranormal)

At first understanding was difficult as Greek mythology is new for me but later after getting grasp, I enjoyed the story. It would have been easier if certain characters of Greek mythology have been explained bit.

Beau's while career is at stake and he gave up evrythng for his love for Ariadne.
I enjoyed the travelling in the labyrinth with Beau n Ariadneu

The book was a borderline average read. The writing style lacked the sense of 'burning, flying, horse-drawn chariots' type of flair and finesse that one would expect from a book based around Greek Myths. I loved the concept of the book and I understand where the author was trying to go with it.
It was supposed to be a thrilling "what'll happen next?" and "who-dun-it?" , kind of read. Try as she may to shroud the story in magical mystery and nail-biting suspense, I feel that this fell flat becaus...more
