Another good book from the long-lived Companion Guides series - these are travel books like no other that you can enjoy just as much at home before or after a trip. Archibald Lyall is a knowledgeable and more than able writer, in whose company it is a sheer delight to revisit some of southern France's most interesting villages and cities.
