Inspiring narrative of being a volunteer performer in the opening ceremony of the 2012 Olympic Games.

Tracing the journey from application, through auditions, training and the big night of performance, Russell Moon captures the enthusiasm of the thousands of volunteers along with the skill of danny Boyle and the other members of the creative team as, despite the incredible negative press in the run-up they prepare for a truly, once in a lifetime, show.

Russell Moon's deep interest in Celtish magic and mythology compelled him to write Witch Boy, his first fantasy novel.
