Mack Bolan's been fighting all enemies to the American way since the early 70's, if memory serves me. As a sporadic reader of his pulp tales, I've seen him fight the Mafia, the KGB, ocean pirates, and international terrorists. Hell, I once read about his kayaking vacation in Iceland where he stumbled a secret Russkie sub base. And I remember another book where Mack was having a relationship with a woman, yet his armaments were even more lovingly described (hair color - huh? caliber - 50 cal).
