This is another one of my "beach books," meaning I think it's the perfect book to relax with. No heavy stuff/existentialist crap involved. I hated how Lindsay's name was spelled. Should it be Lindsey? It seemed less awkward. The love story was predictable, but nice and warm-hearted. I hated Brooke. She was so annoying and I'm glad Lindsay noticed the little rude things she did, but she still hung out with her because that was true to her character. It seems ridiculous to me to try to lose your v More...

Woah! Talk about fab-oh-lous! This book is a perfect getaway, Caribbean Cruising with matching love on- board story.

It's ordinary like the kind of "I was busy looking for Mr Right that I didn't notice he was just the guy next door" kinda story. How could Lindsay not be blind when all she cared about is her stupid to-do list. Pretty much, Ryan's wearing his heart on his sleeves. The guy's always there for her but her stupid list is just getting in the way. You see, she wanted to do the things she More...

Despite what some of the other reviews may say, I actually really liked this book. It ACTUALLY WAS in my opinion, a good story. It was one of those...cute stories that you can both feel for the main character and yell at her for being so blind. But I really liked the way it turned out. :)

Okay so here's the summary:

Lindsay is a 18 year old girl who is on a cruise ship for her mother's wedding to a really rich man named Walter (not that the money has anything to do with it, it's just that that's h More...

No digo que no me guste, me gus More...

Let me start of by saying that this book is a secret little gem! I’d never heard of this author before and probably wouldn’t have picked it up even if I had because the cover looks a little young and cheesy but when I discovered this book on my Amazon recommendations and found out what it was about I thought I’d give it a try and I’m so glad I did. I read this in one sitting on a hot summer’s day when I fancied something light and summery to read and it sure hit the spot!

"The rules are completely different on a cruise. Everyone is a player, and everyone is okay with that."

it's more of "reality on board". If you ever been on a cruise, you can definitely relate from page one down to the last page. Every character exist on board and i csn see myself smiling in most of the part because I can totally relate, its a feel-good-chic-book, but the best part happened on the last 3 chapters. :) Caribbean is the best place to fall in love. <3

It's really a different world More...

Caribbean Cruising was one of those books that you really couldn’t put down. With its fast paced writing style, and surprising twists, it was my favorite book so far.

This book was all about expecting the unexpected. It was all about surprises and plot twists. It was a book that would make you keep on guessing. The author’s purpose of this book was really to teach her readers a lesson; an important one at that. The lesson was things won’t always go as planned, sometimes you have to make adjustmen More...

To be perfectly honest, I like the whole 'bodyguard' ill be your protector sort of thing when it comes to guys in fiction. I admit that Im a hopeless romantic and that guys who are sensitive with the whole 'silent but strong' type just gives me the whole shiver factor. I mean action speaks louder than words=)

Okay, there's no one better than Ryan. And i could say how much he is into romance. He protected Lindsay, looked out for her and saved her from many uncomfortable encounter. I mean who wouldn't fall for that kind of guy? And here's a plus, he's not really a barge-in-your-door kind of jealous guy, instead he played it cool, jealous check, butting in check, but never an overdramatic 'I'll sweep in punch that guy on his face' kind, which made it a logical/good/able to relate read. I just LOVED this book. I've never been on a Cruise before so this was just so exciting for me to read. I never thought going on a cruise could be this much fun.

I love how the author created Ryan's personality and how the relationship between Lindsay and him grew throughout the novel. Yeah, it's pretty predictable what the product/ending was going to be. But the ride/journey was so much fun to read !

I was actually hoping that there was going to be a sequel o this...I wanted to see how her step- More...

To be honest, just by looking at the cover I could tell that this book would be a light read and I was right. The plotline is very predictible (you know exactly who she is going to end up with after the second chapter). The writing style was also very weak; the entire time I was reading I imagined that this book was penned by a lovesick 16 year old with a complete lack of vocabulary. The storyline was cheesy, but that is to be expected from a fluffy chick-lit paperback. As far as the entire book More...

I gave this 5 stars because I personally thought this book was amazing.

The author did a very good job at keeping the book from getting crazy. The story-line is a little, unrealistic, that your mother would marry a very rich guy who is on the top ten richest people list, and etc. The author kept it very organized, making it much easier to read. Sometimes when you read the descriptions of the books you think, this can't really be that good of a book, but it ends up being amazing. This is one of th More...

Once I started, I never stopped.
This book was just full of squealing and then more squealing and then much more squealing. It's funny how the plot is so simple yet so endearing it tugs your heartstrings like wild fire. The simplicity and the cliche of the plot is actually what made it more fun, which is quite rare of me to admire as to my liking for originality and uniqueness.
The characters were amazing. Each of them had their own personality and they really meshed together well in the plot desp More...

She just graduated High School and is going into college after the summer. It's very sweet and you don't want to put it down. Some parts of it are unpredictable other parts aren't. In the e More...

The first time I read this I was thirteen and it was the most awesome book of all time. Now reading this a second time, I can’t believe I ever thought it was that great. I have no problem with fluffy books, but this book had absolutely nothing going on. It was just a string of scenes involving random hot guys and drinking margaritas. Things got redundant and repetitive. Most of the time nothing important happened and things were glossed over with sentences like ‘we partied and danced all night a More...

To be honest, I didn't read the whole book. I read the beginning and the ending and that's about it.
From the start, I was irritated at how Lindsay wanted to lose her virginity so much. And for her to think that it would be just a 'fling' was so shallow of her that I didn't really mind not to read all of the book's contents.
I would've given lesser than a single star for this if were only legit in here. Boohoo.

After reading a lot of reviews about this book. I was curious so I gave this a try.

It entertained me... really!

Although I should pin-point the slight negativity of this book. I mean, let's get real! I know teens are thinking of getting laid or whatever but I think Lindsay (protagonist) was really vocal about it the entire time on the book.

Anyway, I got my doze of romantic moments which was sweet and well... romantic!

I absoultely LOVED this book! Every moment was awesome. Reading this book I felt that I could really identify with Lindsay. That was why I really enjoyed it so much. Rachel Hawthrone really got into what most teens are concerned about. Once I started I couldn't put it down! I was surprised that I read it so quickly but it was well worth it. I recommend this to all teenage girls.

Maybe I'm partial to this book, because I love her writing and novels, but this book had me from page one, right to the end.
Fun, frothy, cute and romantic.

This book was a huge ehhh for me. It was a very quick, and easy read and to me, seemed very predictable! But I guess you can't really expect anything other then predictable from a quick teen romance book. All though, I loved how it took place on a cruise ship! Made me want to drop everything and hop on a ship!

This is the first book I had picked up in a very long time, and I believe this was the BEST way to begin my summer after a long semester. I've been on a cruise, and this brought back so many great, fun memories. I recommend this book, especially to people who need a vacation but can't get it at the moment!
