A fun, funny Australian middle grade book about a city family's move to sheep country. Chapters alternate between young Mike's narration, the woolly thoughts of a couple of sheep, and an ancient sheep dog's accidental heroics.

This is a delight. I purchased these for 2 young men that I love dearly. It is a story about changes in their lives that the have no control over. There family moves to the country. Their interaction with the animals, wooly jumpers, snakes, and lizards are laugh out loud funny.

Brilliant book. This writer is a real talent in the same group (to my way of thinking) as Jeanne Birdsall and Sally Gardiner. She writes for the same age group as Birdsall and with the same cadence and similar subject matter. A beautiful book. Buy it to keep.

One Sentence Review: Cute enough and it has a nice internal crazy logic to it, but ultimately you won't remember much of it after you put it down.
