I was given a copy in exchange for my honest review.

I LOVED THIS BOOK!!! I have to say that is the most emotional read I think I have ever read. I didn't just cry, I was sobbing. It was a book I wanted to read from beginning to end in one sitting, but just couldn't because I was too emotional to read the words. Seriously, I think I could read this book over and over and still have the same reaction.

This books revolves around how life really can be. That everything isn't fairy tales and happy e

I read this book too fast to even put it on my "Currently Reading" shelf! What a truly sad story, largely because of the author's ability to write so accurately on the effects of child abuse. This book gives an intense look at the way a developing mind can interpret the world around them in an attempt to make sense of what most of us would consider senseless. Love her writing style, and the way she shows the story through feelings and actions. She obviously gained inspiration from people who hav ...more

I had this book on my TBR list for far too long before I read it! Once I started it I just could not put it down! I had it loaded onto my phone and I found myself reading a few more pages as I cooked dinner, or sitting with my children to help them with homework. Any second that I could pick it up and read my nose was in the book. I had to know more, I had to know Dani's story.
I was instantly drawn to little Dani. I wanted to bring her to my home and give her a great home almost instantly. I she

I just finished reading "Cat's Eye Marble" for the second time, and loved it even more. I'm one who likes to read books more than once, particularly disturbing, scary, emotional ones, in search of the initial visceral reactions it may have given. This book does not disappoint! I felt the same flood of sadness when I read the first sentence.

Leeann takes you on a journey that so many children today are faced with,, but with her stunning character development, it is by no means just another story a
