There's a reason the field is so crowded with Elvis literature -- there's truly a lot to tell and, perhaps more importantly, a nearly infinite number of lenses through which to study the man, his times, his fame, his life, addiction, etc.. So why, given the lack of original sourcing to be found here and the fact that this book reads like a really, really long undergraduate term paper, even bother writing it?
