Betty takes a new spin on telling history. She builds the character, who history tells us a name, so that the historical event is more memorable. For instance, I knew somewhere in the back of my mind that the Texas flag originated in Georgia, but till I read her little story on the heroine, that fact never resonated in my mind. Well done Betty! All her stories are historically accurate but she helps to provide insight into little known facts that have had a long last result.

When I sit down to write, the goal for my historical stories is to bring the lives of people in the past to life for my readers. I write both historical and contemporary stories featuring strong, loving women and brave, compassionate men. No matter whether the stories are set in the past or the present, I love to include a touch of the paranormal. In addition to romantic fiction, I've written ...more
